, lIe it enacted, by fM Senate (J,n,d House oj Repre$entati~8 oj the b'nited States oj AmeMCa '(,n Congress assembled; That a census of the~opu­l~tion, ", tUfa, Irianufactul"l;'s, forestry and forest product I and mines rries of the United Sta.tes shall be taken by the Di ector of the Cenaus in the year nineteen hundred and twenty and iavery ten years thereafter. The census herein provided for shall i~clude each State, the District of Columbia, Alaska, Hawaii, and Porto Rico. The appointment clerk sha.ll perform the duties assigned him by the Director of the Census.
