4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! 5 Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with

thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your

hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right,

whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.

Background of the Book of Philippians:This is a thank you letter to the Church of Philippi because of their partnership of proclaiming the gospel.1:3 because of their support to Apostle Paul during his mission and imprisonment. The Philippians Church were very Generous to Paul.This letter was written by Paul in prison> this is a prison letter. 1:12 Even Paul was in prison. His attitude is very joyful 1:12-17 The word "joy" or "rejoice" is used 16 times in the book of Philippians in the New American Standard Version 1995 Updated. That's why the book of Philippians is know as the book of joy. Apostle Paul exhorted the Church at Phillipi that their attitude should be like Christ. 2: 5 Christ- like attitude ang dapat nilang taglayin at ipamuhay palagi.

WHAT WE SHOULD LEARN ABOUT THE ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE OF APOSTLE OF PAUL EVEN HE IS IN THE MIDST OF UN CONFORTABLE/DIFFICULT SITUATION? ANO BA ANG DAPAT NATING MATUTUNAN PATUNGKUL SA PAG-UUGALI NG PAGPAPASALAMAT NI APOSTOL PABLO KAHIT NA SIYA AY NASA MAHIRAP NA KALAGAYAN?

I. THE ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE IS ALWAYS REJOICING EVEN IN THE MIDST OF UNCOMFORTABLE/DIFFICULT SITUATION.V4
