JACKIE ALLEN – Ensemble Jackie has worked behind the scenes as stage manager, doing sound, and props for various Iowa City/Coralville com-munity theaters. She has acted in a handful of shows as well. Her last endeavor was as stage manager for Dream-well’s Sans Merci. She'd like to thank her husband for all the
time he's put into caring for their three young sons so she could get away and play dress-up and pretend with grown-ups for a change.
MICHAEL BLAKE – Set Design Michael has an extensive local resume in set design begin-ning in the early 1990s by designing for several students in the Playwrights Workshop at the University of Iowa including Thea Cooper and Maggie Conroy in her one woman thesis Gracie. He has created the sets for several City Circle Acting
Company of Coralville productions including The Full Monty, Little Women the Musical, Hello Dolly! and the premier production in the new Coralville Center for the Performing Arts, Hairspray, as well as Catchin’ the Babies, which won best set in the state and regional AACTFest competition. Mi-chael has also designed On Golden Pond, Wonderful Town and The Nerd with ICCT. Michael avidly gardens, and has a special interest in growing succulents.
JEN BROWN - Ensemble Jen Brown has been in six ICCT shows before Gigi and loved every one of them. She would like to thank director Josh Sazon for the chance to do it again, and the entire ICCT family for making it another great experience! Jen will also be appearing in House of Wonders at the end of March. RACHEL BROWN – Ensemble Rachel graduated from Waldorf College with a BA in Theatre Arts and has directed shows for Waldorf College (Man of Infi-nite Sadness), North Iowa Community Schools (Arsenic and Old Lace), and Iowa City Community Theatre (collaboration of All in the Timing and The Nerd). She has performed in shows with ICCT, Red Door Ensemble and Washington Community Theatre.
WILLIS BUCKLES - Ensemble Mr. Buckles quit Clown College at the age of 22 and joined the Army Reserve. He left because he hates juggling and there weren't enough challenges. He has been with the mili-tary for 8.5 years and is continuing his education towards a degree in Clinical Psychology. This is the first time he has actually been on stage since joining the military

ANDREW COLE – Ensemble Andrew is excited to be back on the stage. After a year off from a knee surgery, he is back to provide entertainment for everyone of all ages. Andrew has been doing theater for the past four years and has been in over 15 productions includ-ing South Pacific , Cinderella! and Wonderful Town. He would like to thank his parents and friends for providing the support and confidence needed to put on such great shows.

BRENDA CHRISTNER – Assistant Stage Manager Brenda has been involved in the Iowa City theatre scene for over 20 years. Presently, she serves as the Vice President of ICCT. Brenda is delighted to be involved with this production of Gigi.
KATIE SYSWERDA EATON – Ensemble / Liane Katie is a full-time high school teacher, part-time graduate student, and, of course, big-time actress. She thanks Josh for giving her the part of Liane, her greatest acting challenge to date. This may be her last show with ICCT as she is get-ting married in June, moving to Cedar Rapids, and hoping to add motherhood to her list of responsibilities. She would like to thank both Erik and her parents for their unconditional love
and endless support of all her pursuits.
K. LINDSAY EAVES – Ensemble Lindsay is a human paleontologist/comparative anatomist by vocation, a stage-performer by avocation and a drama queen by temperament. Her recent stage credits include Last of the Red Hot Lovers (ICCT), The Crucible (Dreamwell Theatre), Henry the Fifth (Dreamwell Theatre), and Soldier's Daughter (Dreamwell Theatre). This is her second show with ICCT.
JEFF EMRICH – Ensemble / Monsieur Duclos Jeff started his ICCT run as Schroeder in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown and has averaged about one production a year since, including Kiss Me Kate, Man of La Mancha, The Wayside Motor Inn, The Shadow Box, and Bus Stop. He appreciates the outlet that theatre provides and the opportu-nities to learn.

JEAN GREWE – Costumes / Ensemble Jean is making her first appearance in an ICCT production. Most recently, Jean appeared in City Circle’s, A Christmas Carol, as Mrs. Fezziwig! Previous roles include Mammy in Lil' Abner and Sister Margareta in Sound of Music. Jean and her husband Mark are new to the area and are enjoying their return to the Midwest. She would like to thank Josh Sa-zon for including her in this marvelous production and the
cast for their never ending patience!
MONTY HENDRICKS – Choreographer Monty is the owner of Mon Teaze! Hair Salon downtown Iowa City, and the proud father of serial killer twin boys Ajax and Dio. His mother Donna is in the audience on Sunday. CHASE HORNING – Ensemble / Little Girl Chase is a student at Clear Creek Elementary in Ox-ford. This is Chase's third production. Her previous credits include The Wizard of Oz and A Christmas Carol. “Thank you to Josh for asking me to be in this production. Thank you to the rest of the cast and crew for making this fun!”
BRYAN LAWLER – Ensemble / Maitre Claude Dufresne This is Bryan’s 7th ICCT production, having performed in Man of La Mancha, Little Shop of Horrors, She Loves Me, The Baker’s Wife, South Pacific, and My Fair Lady. Bryan is very excited to be working with such a talented cast and crew. Thanks to Jan, Heather and Ashley for all your support and encouragement; and to Josh for your confidence!
KRISTA NEUMANN – Aunt Alicia Krista has worked professionally in Minneapolis, Chicago, New York and Los Angeles. REED PERKINS – Ensemble Gigi marks Reed's third show in Iowa City, but now that he has a job, you might be seeing more of him. When not on stage, he is usually reading, cooking, and/or playing the odds.
STEPHEN POLCHERT – Ensemble / Manuel While far from being a talented actor, Stephen is one of the most punctual, garnering accolades for his timely arrivals for his performances as Samuel in Dreamwell's The Curious Savage and the Rat King in the Nolte Academy's Nutcrack-er. When not pursuing his dream of becoming the Clint How-
ard of Community Theater, Stephen works at the University of Iowa College of Law and is finishing up a historical novel.
BRAD QUINN – Ensemble Brad is an actor, but don't ask him about it. He will deny eve-rything.
RICH RIGGLEMAN – Stage Manager Rich is a retired language arts teacher form Western Iowa, where he directed or acted in over 30 shows with Midwestern Players, the community theatre in Denison. Since moving to Iowa City he has worked on 18 productions at Dreamwell, including directing Playboy of the Western World. At ICCT
Rich has been involved with 24 plays, which includes directing Crimes of the Heart and Last of the Red Hot Lovers. He has also worked with City Circle and Catalyst community theatres.
ROXY RUNNING - Ensemble Roxy has been in a number of area shows since her Iowa City debut in The King and I (ICCT). She was most recently on stage as Miss Willie in The Curious Savage (Dreamwell) and will be in the upcoming ICCT production House of Won-ders. She'd like to thank Josh for giving her the chance to dance about in pretty dresses and her husband for supporting
her acting endeavors.

JOSH SAZON – Director Josh has worked on a number of productions in the Iowa City area, both onstage and off.
STEPHEN SWANSON – Honoré Honoré Lachaille, marks Mr. Swanson’s 100
th role in opera,
operetta, and musical. Before moving to Iowa City, Steve was a full-time opera singer in Switzerland and Germany. He is currently a professor of voice at The University of Iowa. His recital “Was my brother in the battle? SONGS OF WAR” is available online in CD and downloadable formats.
BRIAN TANNER – Ensemble Brian’s previous ICCT work includes directing Chapter Two and appearing in Hedda Gabler (George) and Sarah, Plain and Tall (Jacob). More recently, he played the Dad in Dreamwell Theatre's Soldier's Daughter and was in the en-semble of City Circle's A Christmas Carol. Last fall his one-act play, Broken Branches, was featured in Theatre Cedar Rapids' TCR Underground Festival. His short play A Simple
Request will be included in Cornell College's New Play Festival in March and in April, he will be seen as Daisy in Dreamwell's Baby with the Bath-water. He is pleased to be a part of Gigi and thanks you for coming.
REX VAN DORPE – Ensemble Rex is excited to be acting back in Iowa City! He was last seen in Dreamwell's The Drag. Hopefully he can find time to be in more shows in the future, which is where he will be spending the rest of his life. As far as working, doing a show, and planning a wedding; Rex would like to thank his good friend Sleep. Much appreciated good friend! He hopes you enjoy the show.

NOEL VANDENBOSCH - Gigi Noel cannot put into words how happy she is to be in this pro-duction! She is a sophomore at Kirkwood Community Col-lege, but still isn’t sure where life will take her. Her hobbies include theatre, singing, costuming, and hanging with family and friends when she has time for a social life. This is her first on-stage production with ICCT, but past performances include Hello Dolly, Christmas Carol Radio Play, Icaria,
and Christmas Carol. She assisted in costuming Baltimore Waltz, And Then There Were None, and Present Laughter. Noel would like to thank Josh and the cast for this amazing and fun experience! Noel thanks her family and friends for their support, love, and patience during her long ab-sences. “Love you all!” And a final thank you goes to her Savior Jesus Christ for his never-ending love and grace.
AUSTIN WEDEMEYER – Ensemble Austin is a former pilot with the Air Force and Northwest where he met a widow, Mary Haaf in Prague, Czech Repub-lic. With Mary's encouragement Austin has learned a lot about song and dance performance in Musical Comedy Troupe. He has had parts in ICARIA and Nutcracker. Thanks to Josh, he has a part in Gigi. “I’m happy to serve.” MARY HAAF WEDEMEYER – Ensemble Mary has performed locally with ICCT, Dreamwell, City Circle, Combined Efforts Theatre, Nolte Academy of Dance and on a regular basis, Musical Comedy Troupe. In addition, Mary per-formed last summer in The Chicago Playwright Festival. She has performed in many shows over the years. Recent credits include BAAL, Oliver, Man with a Load of Mischief, The Phila-delphia, Nutcracker, Love at The County Fair, ICARIA, Nine
Parts of Desire, and Belly Dance. Mary lives in Iowa City with husband Aus-tin. When she is not found on stage you will find her traveling with Austin to California to be with family or on some adventure. A special thanks goes to Josh for "entrusting" her to the dear role of Mamita.
PER WIGER - Gaston Per isn't really sure where he came from, where he is, or where he is going, but he would appreciate bumming a ride, if you can accommodate the giraffe. In the meantime, he'll be around.

BECCA WRIGHT – Ensemble Becca is excited to be in her first production with ICCT and her first with her husband as music director! Recent credits include ensemble in City Circle's Rocky Horror Show and Daphne in Present Laughter. After Gigi, she will appear in Dreamwell's April production of Baby in the Bathwater! In her other life, Becca is a speech-language pathologist with Grant Wood AEA working in the College Community School District.
She would like to thank Josh and the cast for a wonderful time wearing pret-ty skirts and flirting with boys, and God for the never-ending blessings in her life.
MICHAEL WRIGHT – Music Director
Michael is studying orchestral conducting at the University of
Iowa. Previously, he taught violin and elementary school mu-
sic. This is his first show to music direct with ICCT and his
second in Iowa City, the first being Icaria which he music di-
rected and orchestrated. Michael has enjoyed many roles onstage, includ-
ing the Baker in Into the Woods and Billy in Anything Goes.

Proceeds from ticket sales provide less than half of the operating budget of ICCT. We are a non-profit organization and can always use your help! Your contribu-tion is tax-deductible (minus the value of tickets) and helps to keep our ticket prices low to improve accessibility to the general community. In this way, we can help people come together to celebrate the excitement of live theatre.
