Measurement Of Luminous

IntensityThe Chame IH100 adapter provides CIE-127-2007

measurements of luminous intensity and all spectral

parameters (e.g. dominant wavelength). Precision

engineering maintains the specified measurement distance

of precisely 10 cm from a detector with an area of 1 cm².

The Chameleon-LH200 integrating sphere adapter is

available for measuring luminous flux and radiant power.

The LED test fixture is used to push the LED into the

opening of the sphere in such a way that all the light

radiation is launched into the integrating sphere. The

interior of the integrating sphere has a highly reflective and

diffusing white coating which is specially flat for this

purpose. Auxiliary lamp as a standard accessory.

Chameleon Software

The Chameleon software package is a complete solution for LED colour

analysis and offers measurements according to the CIE standards.

Using the CIE software is very easy; its functions are clearly structured in

four main steps:

• Full control of the measurement parameters

• Guidance through the measurement procedure

• Ready-to-use numerical results as well as a graphical chromaticity

diagram

• Storage of past measurements

It is an ideal tool for process control or QA colour measurements in

industrial applications. Common applications for this software including

LED and glass bulb lighting. It can also be used in photometric

applications for light emitters.
