St. Xavier’s International School, Zirakpur, for boys and girls, is a symbol of God and his grace, an abode of education, in

the service of our Lord Jesus Christ and Humanity. This School is completely managed by the CHRISTIAN MINORITY and

is controlled by the International Christian Education Foundation (Regd.) The I.C.E.F. has indeed taken a bold step towards

the proliferation of knowledge, brotherhood, secularism and democracy. This English Medium School is an addition to a

worldwide network of Christian Institutions.

The location of the School is excellent. It has a Scenic Campus amidst greenery. It is centrally located, just 500 m from the

Aero City road and approximately 2 km from V.I.P. Road Zirakpur.

This branch of the St. Xavier’s Schools in the Tri-city was started on 3 April, 2017 and in the last 2 years it has already

achieved great heights.

THE ORATOR

The Second Annual Sports Meet of St. Xavier’s International School, Zirakpur was held with great mirth and camaraderie.

Deepinder Singh Dhillon,the Halka in charge of Zirakpur area consented to be the Chief Guest for the evening.

The Principal, Mervin West, welcomed the guests and gathering formally and gave a brief report of the school’s sports

activities and the students.

The event began with a well synchronized March Past by the four Houses followed by the Oath taking ceremony. The

most intriguing aspect embellishing the event, was the splendid field displays, involving about 800 students. The displays

included 'Star drill’ by classes Pre-Nursery, ‘Emoji Drill’ by K.G & 1,'Daisy Flower-Drill’ by classes 2&3. ‘Flag-Drill’ by

classes 4,5,6& 7. Last but not the least the ‘Maypole-Drill’ by class 6. This was followed by the exhibition races 'Pick up the

cone’ by Pre-Nursery’. 'Burst the balloon’ race by Nursery. 'Jump into the ring race by K.G. 'Baby Rattle race of boys and

girls of class 2. 'Relay race for boys and girls of class 6. ‘80 mts’ Flat race for boys and girls of class 7. All the winners were

awarded with medals.

The zealous parents, gathered in large numbers, constantly applauding all the participants and the winners. The

programme concluded by an encouraging speech of the Founder and Rector Mr. Andrew John Gosain, Chairman Mr. I

William congratulated the winners and the entire team of the Xavier's Zirakpur for putting up a wonderful show.
