CornerTape is a tool that ensures simple masking of corners before applying joint filler/silicone.The masking will be straight and parallel and the gap between the corner and the tape will be the sameon both sides. The joint filler/silicone is then simply and cleanly applied in the set gap of the tape.All silicone sealed joints have a limited lifespan. Over time they will discolour and dry out. This meanswater might seep in, causing rot and mildew. According to silicone sealant manufacturers, thesilicone joints in bathrooms should be renewed every 3-5 years.

In countries where cement-based joint fillers are used for corners, cracks appear after only a shorttime. We recommend using silicone and CornerTape together, for a longer-lasting finish. Flexible jointfillers such as silicone and acrylic are used in corners as this allows for any movement. It is alwayshard to achieve a good finish in these corners. CornerTape is a masking tool for achieving perfectjoints. Every packet of CornerTape includes a specially designed joint former, suitable for the widthof the chosen CornerTape. The tape is very thin, extremely strong and does not split when removed.

The result is a perfect joint!

HOW TO WORK OUT HOW MANY TILES REQUIRED

To find out how many square metres (sqm) of tile you need. Multiply the height and width of area to be tiled.

(eg A) 2m x 2.5m = 5sqm (eg B) 200cm = 2m 2500mm = 2.5m

Follow this process for each wall or floor area to be tiled.Work out the area of the windows, doors, bath etc then deduct this amount using the same method.

All of our tiles are sold per sqm with the exception of mosaics, borders and decor tiles which are sold per tileor sheet. We recommend that you purchase an additional 10% to allow for cuts and breakages.

In October 2011 we seized an opportunity to sponsor the main stand at Walsall FC. This is agigantic advertising hoarding, which towers over the M6 motorway, and has become a locallandmark. This is just the third time that this sign has been replaced, and is clearly visible to 883,000drivers that pass every week between junctions eight and nine.

The three tier stand has now been re-named the Tile ChoiceStand, and has created great interest in the local press. Thesign has a total of 52 advertising panels measuring a massive10 feet by 5 feet each, and had to be fixed by abseilersemployed by a team of signage professionals making thisthe largest illuminated sign in europe.

In January 2012 the Whitehouse family who live in lowerGornal Dudley, invited DIY SOS team to help themin their hour of need. They contacted the televisionprogramme after struggling to finish a much-neededextension to their cramped house. Parents Joanne andWayne want to create new bedrooms for their childrenwho suffer from Fragile X Syndrome. After remorgagingtheir home and spending £27,000 on starting theextension they ran into money troubles and were leftat their wits end and still craving more space.

When we heard that the popular BBC T.V series DIY SOSwith Nick Knowles and the team were in our local areaDudley. We immediately approached there researcherto see if there was anything Tile Choice could do to helpthem in completing the project. DIY SOS were reallypleased that we were offering our help and support, andcame to visit our Tile Choice Bilston store to seewhat tiles they would like. When we delivered the tiles tothe house everyone who was working on the housewas really upbeat and really pleased to have beenhelping this family rebuild their home.
