piece.

He’s very sad.

它动身去找失落的一角He set off to find the missing

piece.

它向前滚动，唱着这样一首歌：“喔，我要去找失落的一角，我要去找失落的一角，啊哈哈，上路啦，去找我那失落的一角！”

He rolled along, singing “Oh, I am going to look for my missing piece, I am going to look for my missing piece, Ah ha ha, on the way, to look for my missing piece”

有时候，它要忍受日晒 ~~Sometimes, he has to bear the heat of the sun.

接着又是一场冰凉的大雨~~Following that, that icy cold rain falls

有时候冰雪把它冻僵了，接着太阳又出来替它暖身 ~

『喔，我要去找失落的一角， 走遍天涯和海角， 千里行不怕路迢迢， 我要去找失落的一角。』

『且慢。』那一角说。『先别唱什么千里独行路迢迢… .. 』

Till one day, he saw it and sang“I have found my missing piece, I have found my missing piece, Not afraid of the long road ahead, I have found…”

“Hold on”, the piece said“Don’t sing that “not afraid of the long road ahead…..” yet”

『我不是你失落的一角。 我不是谁的一角。 我是自己的一角。 就算我是谁失落的一角， 相信也不会是你的』

“I am not your missing piece.

I am not anyone’s piece.

I am my own piece.

Even if I am someone’s missing piece,

I believe it would not be yours.”

『喔』它伤心的说。『打搅你了，真对不起。』 它继续上路

“Orh.” He sadly said.

“Sorry to disturb you.”

And he went on his way again.

它找到另外一角，

He then found another piece.

但是这个太小。But this piece was too small.

这个又太大。 This one was too big.

这个又太尖锐了些。This one is slightly too sharp.

有一回，它好像找到了合适的一角，

但是它没抓牢，There was once when he found a piece with the perfect fit.

But he did not grab hold of it tight.

And he dropped it.

另外一次，它抓的太紧，

There was another time when he grabbed hold of it too tight...

弄碎了，…and broke it.

它继续上路，He went along his way again.

遇到了些危险，Met with some dangers,

跌进了坑洞，Fell into a pit,

撞上了石墙，Crashed into a stone wall.

后来有一天，他又遇上了另外的一角，看起来很合适。

One day, he met another piece which seemed to be a perfect fit.

『嗨！』它说。『嗨！』那一角也说。『你是谁失落的一角吗？』『我不是。』『那么，你是自己的一角吗？』『我可以当别人的一角，同时又是自己的一角。』『你大概不会想当我的一角吧？』『也不一定是这样。』『也许我们并不很合适。』『别这么说… . 』

“Hi!” He said.

“Hi!” the piece said.

“Are you anyone’s missing piece?”

“No, I am not.”

“Then are you your own piece?”“I can be someone’s piece, as well as, be my own piece”“You probably would not like to be

my missing piece.”

“Not really.”“Maybe we are not

suitable.”“Don’t say that…”

『怎么样？』『感觉真好！』

“How is it?”

“Feels good.”

很合适！合适极了！总算找到了！总算找到了！

Very suitable!

A perfect fit!

Finally found it! Finally found it!

它向前滚动，因为不再缺少什么，所以越滚越快，从来没有滚过这么快。

快的停不下来，不能跟小虫说说话。

He rolled along,

because he does not miss a piece anymore,

he rolled faster and faster,

faster then never before.

So fast that he could not stop to chat with the little worm.

也不能闻闻花香，He can’t stop to smell the flowers too.

快的蝴蝶不能在它身上落脚。So fast that the butterfly is not able to rest on him.

但是它可以唱它的快乐歌。他总算可以这样唱：『我找到了我的失落的一角。』

But he could sing his happy song.

He finally can sing :

“I found my missing piece.”

它开口唱了：『哦高告哥科格衣搞， 哦高告哥科格衣搞， 坎给古狠姑哈乌好好。』 天啊，

它现在什么也不缺，却再也不能唱歌了。

He started to sing:

“Ummm…Bleh…Hmmm,

Ummm…Bleh…Hmmm,

Hmmp…Ummp…”

Oh god,

He does not miss a piece now, but he cannot sing.

『我懂了。』它想。『这里有点道理。』它停了下来。

“I know why.” He thought.

“There’s a reason here.”

He stopped.

轻轻的把那一角放下，

And put down his missing piece,

从容的走开。And left.

它一边走，一边轻轻的唱；

He moved along,

and sang softly:

『喔，我要去找失落的一角，我要去找失落的一角，啊哈哈，上路啦，去找我那失落的一角。』

我们的生命轨迹不正如此么 ?我们都在寻找我们失落的那一角 ,那失落的一角对你来说是什么呢？

那失落的一角．．．是财富？是地位？是朋友？是爱情？是梦想？… ..可能都是，或许我还并不了解．．．．

The missing piece…..

Is it pointing to wealth? Or position? Maybe friends? Or it is love ? A dream?.....

Maybe all of them, maybe I do not really know…….

每天我们忙忙碌碌，却并不是总能感到充实。我们总觉得少了什么．．．我们寻找，但是并不是能找到真正对的那个．．．

We keep busy everyday, but seldom feel content.

We know something missing, indeed missing …..

We look for it, but we can not find the real one….

这一切都是因为… .没有找到真正合适自己的那“一角”。那“一角”从真正意义上，应该是… .我们生命的目的…… .

All are because we have not found our missing piece that really belong to us……

That missing piece, to some point,

should be our purpose of life…….

在忙碌的间隙，如能抽出时间细想自己寻找的东西，你就不会再有那么多烦恼，想想自己 :想做什么 ?能做什么 ?做了什么？

If we spare some time to think about these, we may get a chance to get rid of the troubles :

Maybe this story tells us

1. We are not perfect, but life become meaningful because we are imperfect and we look for perfection.

2. We should know what the missing piece really means to each of us.

3. We should continuously look for the missing piece, to achieve our own perfection.

4. Life can be happy all along, even we are not perfect yet.

这个故事可能想告诉我们：

1.我们并不完美，但因不完美而寻找完美，这个过程从而使生命变得有意义；

2.我们应知道什么才真正是我们失落的一角；

3.我们应不断的寻找那一角，寻找自己的完美；
