independence.– Texas should still fight Mexico despite how much

• National Debt-Texas had little or no money• Relations with Native Americans-No army or navy
to really protect Texas from the Native Americans
• Transportation-Roads were in poor condition throughout the state
• Education-No free public education• Relations with Mexico-Mexico did not respect
Texas as an independent nation which made other countries refuse to trade with Texas.
