Bidding Adieu Farewell to our efficient , dedicated , Multifaceted and beloved Vice Principal Mrs.Manjula Rana was given on 16.11.2017.She joined as Principal of KV MIRC Ahmednagar. KV Bhandup bid grand farewell to Mrs.Anjali Tamhankar , PRT on her superannuation on 30th November 2017. She was a recipient of KVS National Incentive Award and Innovations in Teaching award. KV Bhandup family wishes them a happy and prosperous future.

Activities

The birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Jhaverbhai Patel was observed as National Unity Day on 31st October 2017.Homage was paid and pledge was taken to motivate the students to strive to maintain the unity and integrity of the country.The staff and the students participated in the Unity Run.

Vigilance Awareness week was celebrated from 30th Oct. to 4th Nov.2017 in the Vidyalaya. Pledge was taken by students and staff. Various programmes like speech ,skit etc. were held in the morning assembly by students and staff to give the message of preventive Vigilance to the young minds so that they will be in a position to influence the society at large.

Class-wise Morning Assembly is presented in English and Hindi on every Thursday and Friday by the students of classes III , IV and V. Various programmes such as poems , skit, songs, celebrations ,quiz, information, scientific facts , birthday dance etc. are presented by the students.

BAL UTSAV Cluster Level Balutsav celebrations under CMP for Primary kids was held from 8th to 10th Nov.2017 at different venues.The students got an opportunity to visit other vidyalayas and interact with them .It was an enriching experience for them.

CCA competition was held on 9th Nov,2017 at KV 3 Colaba. 25 kids participated in Rangoli, Quiz, Group song and Folk Dance Competition and won the prizes.

Cubs and Bulbul competition was held at KV INS Hamla Malad on 10th Nov.2017 . 25 Primary kids participated in Den making, cooking without fire, drawing and value based skit.

Annual Sports Day

Annual Sports Day was held on 21st Jan.2018. Honourable Chairman VMC, Commodore Alok Ujjal Aditya graced this auspicious occasion by his presence.Programmes such as march past , action song, display such as mass P.T, ring, yoga , karate was presented by primary and secondary students.Housewise Competitions such as frog race, obstacle race, skipping, 100M, relay race etc. were held . The winners were felicitated by the chief guest with medals and certificates.. The Chairman appreciated, inspired and blessed all the students.

House -wise CCA competitions such as rangoli, group song, drawing , class wise theme based fancy dress such as stationery items, our helpers, means of communication, planets etc. were held for kids. Fun Day activities were planned,coordinated and conducted in smooth manner on every Saturday. Celebrations such as balutsav,grandparents day, republic day, important events, special days, week, community lunch,Matribhasha Diwas (Mother Tongue Day) and festivals were planned and celebrated with great enthusiasm and exhuberance. House wise cultural programmes were conducted.

Funday Fun Day activities were held for primary kids on Saturdays. Various activities like house wise cultural programmes such as dance , skit, action song, quawali, community lunch, making pop up cards , drawing, making greeting cards for grandparents , first aid , sports and cubs and bulbul activities were held. Kids participated wholeheartedly and enjoyed them very much.

Co-Curricular Activities

Winners of Olympiad IGK 3 students won gold ,2 silver and 1 bronze medals. IEO 7 students won gold ,4 silver and 3 bronze medals. IMO-4 students won gold ,4 silver and 3 bronze medals. NSO-3 students won gold ,2 silver and 3 bronze medals.

Siddesh R Chauhan V D won gold medal in 4th state level karate championship held in Mumbai on 12th November.

Kshitij Chafe VD won gold medal in Maharashtra state level sub junior Taekwondo championship.

Prithvi B. VD -bronze medal in the 7th National Kung Fu championship held at Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai.

Rutwiz Pawar-II A Won Maharasthra Lalit Kala Academy Second Prize in Drawing and Rs 1000 .

Class Magazines The Class Magazines were prepared by the students of classes I to V. It was a

collection and compilation of activities such as articles,drawings, jokes, poems, riddles, quiz, Languages games, self composed poems, collage, slogans, origami ,

etc.The students prepared the magazines with zeal and their heart and soul.

Republic Day was celebrated on 26th Jan. 2018. Nominee Chairman Captain A K Singh was the Chief Guest of the day.He hoisted the flag.A cultural array of programmmes such as action song, dance on national integration, speeches etc. was presented by the students of the Vidyalaya.Winners in different fields were felicitated by the Chief Guest.The Chief guest addressed the August gathering, inspired ,encouraged , blessed and distributed the sweets to the students .

Primary Kids went to the Amusement Park Tikuji Niwadi near Thane for school picnic on 17.2.2018.The students enjoyed the journey by bus. They saw Tikuji Farm animals and birds ,different kinds of fish in the aquarium ,dinosaur park .They enjoyed the various joy

rides and rain dance .They had pleasant and joyful experience .The tans will fade but the memories will last forever.
