You are the proud owner of a Nuvo TooT and we hope it will bring you many years of musical fun and learning.Playing Your First Notes Your TooT comes with the Firstnote lip plate and a standard lip plate. To get started, use the Firstnote lip plate and blow gently to produce a pleasant tone. Carefully position your fingers as shown on the fingering chart. To play the di�erent notes, press down on the relevant keys. It will take some practice but keep trying and soon you will be playing many great tunes!When you feel ready you can graduate to the Standard lip plate. To play the TooT using the standard lip plate you will need to develop the correct blowing technique (embouchure). You may need some help from a flute teacher or tutor book. You can download our “Play It Today” book and music from our website.www.nuvo-instrumental.comYour TooT will play all the notes over a range of one and a half octaves. To play the first octave make sure your left thumb is pressing the black dot on the thumb key. To play the second octave, slide your thumb away from the black dot in order to create a leak between the key and the tone hole. TooTのメンテナンス（クリーニング）について

TooTは100％防水ですので、暖かい石鹸水で定期的に洗うことができます。

リッププレートの交換方法

リッププレートは２点の”ツメ”で固定されています。交換の際は、付属のリムーバルツールをリッププレートと本体の間に差し込み、押し上げるようにすると外れます（シリコン製のスリーブを傷付けない様に注意して作業して下さい）。リッププレートを取り付ける際は、片方のツメを合わせてから、もう片方のツメをカチンと音がするまでしっかりと固定して下さい。また、取り付ける前に、リッププレートの裏側にセットされているO（オー）リングが正しく収まっているかも確認して下さい。

リッププレートについて

この製品には２つのリッププレートが付属しています。最初は、ファーストノート・リッププレートを使用してください。優しく吹くと美しい音色がでます。このマニュアルの運指表を確認しながら、指を所定の位置に置きます。正しい指の位置を確認しながら一音ずつ吹いてみてください。ある程度練習が必要ですが すぐに色んな曲を演奏できるようになるでしょう！

※リッププレート取付の初回は、パーツが馴染んでいないために固いことがあります。

スタンダードリッププレート(標準のリッププレート)で演奏するためには、正しい吹き方の技術（アンブシュア）を磨く必要がありますので、必要に応じてフルートの先生等から指示をもらうようにして下さい。またそれは、将来的に通常のフルートを演奏する上で必要になる基本的技術の一つです。
