ArrivalWengen can be conveniently reached by train from Basel, Bern, Luzern and Zürich.
For motorists there is a large multi-story carpark next to Lauterbrunnen Railway Station with direct access to the trains.There is further parking space near Lauterbrunnen church (a large carpark approx. 10 minutes walk from Lauterbrunnen Station). Please check sign.
Afterwards, you take the panoramic mountain railway (WAB) from Lauter-brunnen Station to Wengen (15 minutes).
ReturnAfter the concerts the following train connections are guaranteed: Dep. Wengen 10.03 pm for Lauterbrunnen – Interlaken Ost – Bern. Dep. Wengen 11.03 pm/12.18 am/12.58 am only as far as Lauterbrunnen.

Conducted walk to the Mendelssohn MemorialThe walk will be conducted by members of the organizing group. You may also take a stroll to the Memorial on your own.
Near the Memorial the actor Markus Lehmann will read storys about the Lauterbrunnen Valley. The ceremony will be accompanied by the alphorn blowers Ursi and Theo Mutti.
