    Art.n: 586233000

Year of manufacture: see rating plate

The following instructions MUST be followed every timethe appliance is used:

    1. For use with Doka tableforms only.Max. length 9.0 m.

    2. Always fasten the 2-part lifting chain to the rear sus-pension plate and to one of the front suspensionplates, as necessitated by the centre-of-gravity

position.3. When lifting and repositioning tables, be careful to

ensure the correct centre-of-gravity position. Max.permitted eccentricity when fully loaded: 15 cm.

    4. While the transport fork is being placed down on theground, all persons must stay clear of the equip-ment to avoid unsafe conditions and eliminate anyhazards or exposure to injury.

Use for the designated purposeonly:The "Transport fork DM 1.5t adjustable" is a load sus-pension device that is only suitable for lifting Dokamaticand/or Dokaflex tables.

    Maintenance & inspection

Repairs may only be carried out by the manufac-turer!

Doka accepts no liability for products that have beenaltered!

    Before every use

Check for any signs of damage or visible deforma-tion.

    At regular intervals

Inspection of lifting accessories must be performedat regular intervals by an expertin conformity withnational statutory provisions.Unless otherwise stipulated, such inspection mustbe carried out at least once a year.

    Storage

Store lifting accessories in a dry and well ventilatedplace, protected from the weather and from all corro-

    sive substances.

    Selecting the lifting chain

    a1= a2... 2.2 mb1... 5.0 m (b2... 2.3 m)c1... 6.8 m (c2... 3.9 m)d ... 4.5 m... max. 30

    Important note:

It is forbidden to use the product for anything

    but its intended purpose!

It is forbidden to lift other manufacturers'tables with it.

Lifting accessories that do not meet the follow-ing criteria must be withdrawn from use imme-diately:

    Crack-free and notch-free welds.

    No deformation

The rating plate and all adhesive labelsmust be in place, and must be clearly legi-ble.

Lifting slings checked for damage andfound to be OK.

Required capacity of the lifting chain:

    3500 kg (using 2 chains, spread-angle up to 30)

The longer the 2-part lifting chain, the more

easily the transport fork will hang in the hori-

zontal, both when under load and when notunder load.

    Spread-angle max. 30!

    Recommended length of 2-part lifting chainmin. 5.0 m + lifting sling 2.2 m.

For tables over 5.0 m long, extend the rearlifting chain by approx. 1.0 m to keep thesetables in a horizontal position while they arebeing lifted. Always check this before thedevice is used for the first time on a new site.

If the lifting height of the crane is not sufficientin the top storey, shorter lifting chains may be

used, provided that the following points areobserved.

    Spread-angle max. 30!

    Length of the lifting chainmin. 2.3 m + lifting sling 2.2 m.

    Use chains with adjustable lengths.

    Functional description

    "Parked" position

Attaching/detaching the double-strand suspensionchain is easy, as the bracket automatically tilts downinto the parking position when it is placed on theground.

a ... Adjustment zone for centre of gravity

    Lever-latch

The lever-latch acts as an anti-slide-off guard whenDokamatic and Dokaflex tables are being lifted.

    Tag-lines

The tag-lines make it easier and safer to guide thetransport fork when manoeuvring it under the Dokatableforms.

    Fork markings

    b1 ... 1000 mmb2 ... 2000 mm (centre-of-gravity mark)b3 ... 3000 mmb4 ... 4000 mmb5 ... 5000 mm

Once you know the ideal position on the fork for a cer-tain table, it is easy to repeat this position on subse-quent tables of the same type, by referring to the mark-ings on the fork.

These markings are also a highly visible safety warningto the site crew when the fork is hovering in the air.
