TRASGU

WHO IS TRASGU?• He's an Asturian mythologycal creature.• He's like a little goblin with human appearance who measures about 80 centimeters and its most characteristic feature is that it has a hole in the hand.

• It likes going from house to house stealing things or hiding them.

Story • Many  years  ago,  in  an  Asturian  village,  the Trasgu found  a  house.  He 

enjoyed breaking  the  dishes. He  also  enjoyed hiding  the clothes  of  the owners  and  changing  the  place  of  the  things.  He  also  starved  the children while they were sleeping. Some nights the Trasgu let  them rest but  in  the  most  unexpected  moment  he  started  to  do  his  antics  .The family  tried  to  put  the  trasgu  away  remembering  their  ancestors technique to put the trasgu away.They tried hard but the Trasgu got very angry and started to behave in a even worst way. They decided to move to another village to get away of the Trasgu . They put all their things in a horse carriage as silent as they could not to advert the Trasgu.When they were leaving the trasgu discovered them , so they decided to stay in that house and  live  in the most peaceful way as they could with the Trasgu. People say that they soon taught him how to behave in a correct way to live with them.

Cuenta  la  leyenda,  que  en  una  aldea  asturiana,  un  Trasgu  la tomó  con  una  casa.  No  tenía  más  diversión  que  dedicarse  a romper la vajilla y otros objetos de cristal y cerámica. También se dedicaba a esconder los zapatos y la ropa de los que en esa casa  vivían,  cambiando  las  cosas  de  su  lugar.  Otra  de  sus manías,  era tirar de  las  narices  a  los  niños mientras  dormían. Así  un  día  tras  otro.  Unos  días  les  dejaba  tranquilos,  pero cuando  menos  lo  esperaban,  el  Trasgu  empezaba  con  sus molestas  travesuras.  La  familia,  hizo  todo  lo  posible  para deshacerse  del  Trasgu,  recordaban  de  los  tiempos  de  sus ancestros  que  había maneras  para  engañarle  y  conseguir  que por fin se marchara. 

 Después  de  intentarlo  varias  veces  y  de  distintas  maneras,  se  dieron cuenta  que  no  conseguían  engañarlo,  solo  conseguían  con  ello  que  se enfadase  aun  más  y  que  cada  vez  se  comportara  de  peor  manera. Cansados ya del dichoso  Trasgu, un día acordaron mudarse a otra aldea para alejarse lo más posible de él. Colocaron en un carro todas sus cosas con  el  mayor  sigilo  posible,  para  evitar  que  el   Trasgu   lo  advirtiera. Cuando desfilaban con sus cosas, el padre preguntó a uno de sus hijos: “¿Quedará algo?” y les respondió una tenue vocecilla: “¡Queda el candil, pero tranquilos eso lo cojo yo!”. Era la voz del  Trasgu, que los había visto y se marchaba detrás de ellos. Viendo que no podían con él, decidieron no mudarse de casa y aceptar que el pequeño  Trasgu  fuera uno más de la  familia.  Cuentan  que  no  tardaron mucho  en  enseñarle  modales,  en conseguir  que  les  ayudara  en  las  tareas  domesticas  y  dejara  de  hacer travesuras, al menos, las más molestas. Dicen que después de un tiempo le  cogieron  mucho  cariño  y  que  los  niños  se  divertían  mucho  con  él, aunque no pudieron evitar que el  Trasgu   les enseñara alguna que otra travesura y algún truco de magia
