The Ultrasonic Density Analyzer uses only one, simple to install, flush mounted sensor, which can be installed in a tank or in an existing pipeline, or supplied with our UFTC Full Bore Flow-Through cells. The abrasive and corrosion resistant sensor material (PFA, PVDF, PEEK or PE) protects the internal elements that transmit and receive a broad spectrum of ultrasonic sound waves. Through the interaction of the sound between the contact surface and the fluid to be measured, the Ultrasonic Density Analyzer derives a complete image of the slurry density, without the need for the sound to pass through the fluid. From the imaged spectra, the system derives the density of the water based slurry, regardless of composition, particle size and other properties of the particles.

UU LTRASONIC LTRASONIC DD ENSITY ENSITY AA NALYZER NALYZER I I :I I : The basic Ultrasonic Density Analyzer measures just the density of the slurry. If you are also interested in measuring the total suspended solids (TSS), the total dissolved solids (TDS), or both independently, that is also possible. The Ultrasonic Density Analyzer II employs a triple hybrid ultrasonic sensor technology that measures all essential information of the slurry or emulsion, including TDS, TSS, density and the temperature.

* depending and to be specified upon diameter and slurry/emulsion type The sensor is supplied as a flow-through sensor, available in diameters ranging from 1” to 3” (for other sizes please contact us). The robust design of the sensor is realized through special sensor elements using an abrasive resistant buffer material which is integrated in the flow-through cell providing a full-bore, zero-intrusive sensing system. The maximum pressure rating is 40 bars. The maximum temperature rating is 90 deg C for standard sensors, with 150 deg C sensors are available as an option.
