Trogir has 2300 years of continuous urban tradition. Its culture was created under the influence of the ancient Greeks, and then the Romans, and Venetians. The St. Lawrence CathedralTrogir cathedral is small but beautiful. The entrance fee was 25kn and allowed entry to the cathedral and bell tower. The carved doorway, side chapel and the choir stalls were particularly impressive but the highlight was the view over the town and the sea from the bell tower. The climb is steep but not too difficult. Perfect for a sunny day when the sky and sea are blue.
