manufacturers and representatives association founded in 1993

One of the main objectives in the formation of ISKID was the collection of Hvac data for the Turkish industry

The collection of data since early 90’s has been done in many different ways and has reached its most efficient level in the last 10 years

Today data is collected from the companies thru a notarized 3rd party, enabling the secrecy of the owner of the data. This way as there is more trust from the companies we can be more sure about the correctness of the data given

Turkish HVAC Data The collected final numbers are only given in the same

detail to only companies who participate and it is not allowed to share this data with outside companies

As ISKID a summary of this data is published yearly on the web site on some of the main subjects ; Split air conditioners, Vrf systems, Ducted units, Package units, Chillers, Air handling units, Fan coils, Heat exchangers, Cold rooms

I will share with you this data and try to give it more clarity and detail

Turkish HVAC Data Some of the major HVAC players in the World are in

Turkey with their own office (Carrier, Trane, York) the rest of the brands have representatives that they sell thru.

In Turkey the government has put a special tax of 6.7 % on all air cooled Air conditioners as well as Ahu and Fancoil units.

The Turkish mechanical contractors that work outside Turkey buy their HVAC equipment from Turkey in many cases, creating an export of imported product in the statistics.
