Tutorial Menggunakan Mastercam X5
Langkah pertama adalah menjalankan mastercam X5
Ketika muncul tampilan berikut, cencel saja.
Setelah tampilan diatas di close akan muncul tampilan biru. Untuk memunculkan garis merah
koordinat tekan f9 pada keyboard.

Lalu tekan planes pada menubar bawah untuk mengganti koordinat menjadi D+ Z+
Kemudian klik line pada toolbar/ klik create pada menubar atas, pilih line endpoint untuk membuat
desain yang diperlukan. Kemudian klik multiline pada toolbar agar garis berlanjut sampai selesai
pembuatan desain.
Setelah desain selesai klik machine type pada menubar, pilih latte, kemudian pilih default.

Kemudian klik tanda (+) pada properties di kiri tampilan. Lalu klik stock setup, kemudian akan
muncul tampilan seperti berikut, klik properties
Kemudian muncul tampilan seperti pada gambar di bawah ini, sesuaikan OD dan Lenght sesuai
desain. Klik select jikalau lupa ukuran yang telah dibuat kemudian klik objek yang dimaksud.

Langkah selanjutnya adalah klik toolpaths, pilih rough untuk mengikis obyek luar sesuai pada desain
teksbar diisi dengan nama untuk menyimpan file
Keterangan:
OD= diameter
Length= panjang benda kerja

Kemudian klik toolpaths, pilih groove

Klik pusat 1 kemudian tarik ke pusat 2, kemudian enter
Setelah menekan tombol enter pada keyboard akan muncul tampilan seperti berikut. Klik Ok

Kemudian klik groove lagi, pilih chain, pilih objek, enter lalu klik centang.
Langkah terakhir membuat thread atau ulir. Klik bagian yang akan di thread, pilih thread pada
toolpaths maka akan muncul seperti ini, pilih sesuai yang tertera pada gambar.

8. Masukkan NC file.
