April’s Athlete of the Month
Hanover: Skyler Blizzard of Fierce Winds
What makes Skyler standout on Fierce Winds?
Skyler stands out because she can deliver all of her level 4 skills and more. She also has
great stunt technique which is a plus.
How have you seen her improve since the beginning of the season?
She struggled with some of her standing tumbling skills in the summer, that did not stop her
she became stronger as well as achieving new skills in the process.
What do you see in her future?
I see many years of Skyler being on some of our highly competitive travel teams as well as
finishing her cheer career on our flagship team F5!
Coach Kenney and Bobbi
“Skyler has really been one outstanding athlete this season. Always pushing herself to be the very best and never giving up she really is a great role model for our younger athletes on the team. She has a positive attitude and a kind welcoming smile which makes all interactions with her very heartwarming. Skyler always delivers on the competition mat and always delivers an over the top Fierce
performance.” ~ Coach Kenney
Sterling: Hannah Toczylowski of Sprinkles What makes Hannah standout on her team?
Hannah is always ready to try new things and help her teammates. She
listens to her coaches and pushes her teammates to "keep going".
What would her teammates say about her?
Hannah always pushes through everything she has to do She’s nice and
a good friend to everybody.
What has Hannah accomplished this season?
Hannah has accomplished a multitude of things. She has improved her
tumbling technique and skills. Hannah has also stepped into every single
stunting role this year. On one team she is a base and a backspot, and
on her main team she is a base, backspot....and new this year...a flyer!
She is a very versatile athlete.
What do you see in Hannah’s future?
I see Hannah becoming a stronger athlete and team leader. She has a
good heart and a genuine personality. This help her continue to learn,
grow, and become an amazing person.
Coach Kristin and Mandy
“Hannah has been a great asset to Sprinkles, helping out crossing over from Mist, and always is encouraging to her teammates. She is a hard worker and always wants to do more and learn more. She has really stepped up on both Sprinkles and
Mist!”

Amanda Moore - Eye of the Storm
“Amanda is one of the original Eye of the Storm athletes and has shown love for the sport,
her teammates and the mission for more than a decade. What Amanda has done over
those years is also what highlights her as our nominee for the Athlete of the Month.
Amanda is a dedicated athlete. She consistently practices her routine at home and it
shows on the mat! She is willing and able to take on changes and eagerly embraces more
and more challenging assignments in the routine. Amanda is a caring and nurturing
person. She is sensitive to the emotions and demeanor of her teammates and frequently
comforts and encourages them as the situation warrants. She has fought through injuries
during this season and has set the example for perseverance and toughness. She is a great
peer leader and is well respected by her teammates and coaches. Amanda comes prepared
for practice and for competition and stays focused throughout. She works extremely hard
and is tremendously coachable, asking questions when given corrections to assure that
she executes the way her coaches envision and soliciting feedback when she makes those
corrections to ensure that verbal communications have translated to the expected physical
results. She is a joy to work with and has accommodated a myriad changes over the
course of this season. Her cumulative work makes her an excellent candidate for the
program’s Athlete of the Month.”
~ Mr. Kevin Morgan Branch - Cold Front
“Morgan is the deal! She is a very hard worker. She is
really strong and can hold up any stunt! She tries her
hardest and never complains. She is the definition of
coachable and a great example of what it means to be a
Twister athlete.”
~ Coach Amber
