DESCRIPTION
"TZUN." Date completed: May 2013. Brief: Design 2 - Final Project. For our final project, we were asked to invent a new product and design a logo for it. My invention: A leather cigarette box holder, with compartments for gum and lighter (two things smokers need.) My logo: "TZUN". The name comes from Native American folklore - one legend tells of the greedy "Dagul'ku" geese who steal the world's only tobacco plant. It is the hummingbird, "Tzunuum", who brings the plant back to the people. By using a bird which is known as "fire-bringer" to a culture that holds smoking as sacred, my design attempts to combat how the habit is so frowned upon in modern society.TRANSCRIPT
