• Teoría celular: • Todos los organismos están formados por 1 o más células. • Célula: unidad estructural y funcional de los seres vivos. • Toda célula procede de otra célula por división. • Unidad genética de todos los seres vivos. Esto significa que cada
célula contiene toda la información hereditaria necesaria para el control de su propio ciclo y del desarrollo y el funcionamiento de un organismo de su especie, así como para la trasmisión de esa información a la siguiente generación celular. (Watson y Crick, 1953).

2.1. ESTRUCTURA DE LA CÉLULA PROCARIOTA • Exclusivamente Reino MONERA. (bacterias y cianobacterias) • Tamaño: 1-5 micrómetros. • Estructuras:

célula. • Citoplasma: sin estructuras membranas, salvo mesosomas.

• Material genético: ADN circular bicentenario (sin historias) en nucleoide. Aparecen tb plásmidos.

2.2. ESTRUCTURA DE LA CÉLULA EUCARIOTA • Resto de reinos: PROTOCTISTA, HONGO, METAFITA Y METAZOO. • Estructuras:
• Mb plasmática: regula intercambio de sustancias. • Pared celular: en vegetal y en hongos. Distinta composición. • Citoplasma: orgánulos membranosos + citoesqueleto -> cilios, flagelos, movimientos intracelulares y división celular.
• Ribosomas 80S • Mitocondrias y cloroplastos: obtención de E y fotosíntesis. Doble membrana.
• Retículo endoplasmático: (liso y rugoso) conectados a mb nuclear)
