DIRECTIONS FOR USE!

! !!FLOWERS AND VEGETABLE GARDENS – For the finest quality garden vegetables and flowers of outstanding beauty, add 1 lb. of EXCELERITE® to each 40 square feet of soil (same for lawns). Work EXCELERITE® into the topsoil and water directly to saturate completely. HOUSE PLANTS – Add between one heaping teaspoon to two full tablespoons of EXCELERITE® depending on pot and plant size; mix carefully with potting soil. Apply normal amount of water on the same day. LAWNS – Apply 1lb. of EXCELERITE® to every 40 square feet of lawn. On newly seeded lawns, apply to topsoil and rake well over entire surface. For old lawns, apply EXCELERITE® evenly, and sprinkle gently with water immediately after application to prevent wind dispersion. SHRUBS, HEDGES and BUSHES – Apply one ounce (1 oz.). of EXCELERITE® to each 2.5 square feet of topsoil and mix-in thoroughly as soon as possible. TREES – For a first time application or if the tree is sickly, add 50 lbs. of EXCELERITE®. This applies to large or older trees as well. For young trees, 20- 25 lbs. is usually sufficient. Apply in a circle trench 2-3´ wide and at least 3” deep centered at the drip line of branches. Thoroughly mix with soil for best results. Water as usual. For healthy trees, reduce quantity by 50% on subsequent applications for the next two years, and then apply this reduced amount only every other year thereafter, or less according the observed results in your particular soil. LARGE ACREAGE / FARMS – Add 450 lbs. of EXCELERITE® per acre if applied as dry powder. It may also be liquefied prior to application for more rapid results. It can also be mixed with 2 to 5% per ton of compost or fertilizer. EXCELERITE® is an all-natural product quarried in Panaca, Nevada. The formation has been known for years under various trade names as a valuable soil conditioner and fertilizer booster. Documented testimonials spanning seven decades attest to the efficacy of adding chelated minerals in trace amounts in a clay medium to a conscientious fertilization and watering program. With many plant families results can be measured within just 2-3 weeks from application as directed. Remineralize your soil and tell us about your success with houseplants, lawns and golf courses, crops and vegetable gardens, fruit and nut trees, flowers, and hedges. Rev. 2.28

Technical Report

INTRODUCTION Based on original research and excerpts from the book The Trace Mineral Story, by Melchior Dikkers Ph.D-- research biochemist. EXCELERITE® generically is a clay mineral, Montmorillonite. EXCELERITE® is a colloidal silicate mineral generally formed by the deposit of volcanic ash in lakes and a year round 780 geothermal spring. Its basic structure is: MgO Al2 O2 • SiO2 nH2O. “In 1931 while Professor of Biochemistry and Organic Chemistry at Loyola University, a natural mineral compound was brought to my attention which later on proved to be one of the most amazing, and unique materials with which I have ever been fortunate enough to come into contact. Its properties were such that it caused me to become deeply involved in a research program that was to take me into many years of painstaking analysis and findings. The material was subsequently identified as a form of Montmorillonite, a colloidal silicate." "Twenty some years ago, I began research on the natural clay mineral as a food supplement. At the onset of this research, the experimental work was done on laboratory animals. In the case of various forms of intestinal infections in rabbits, poultry, swine and cattle, amazing results were obtained whereas the animals did not respond to treatment with other, orthodox treatments. These findings were, of course on a control basis, meaning certain groups of animals were put on the natural clay mineral while others were not. The results were then noted for both groups. The results of these research experiments proved that the minerals contained in the natural mineral clay had a very definite value in the Biochemistry of the body." The results of my research and findings on the natural clay mineral EXCELERITE® are as follows: 1. The mineral absorbs toxic substances from the intestinal tract, and at the same time possesses a healing and soothing quality. 2. The absorptive power of this natural clay – mineral 3. The natural clay mineral helps supply mineral trace elements that may be lacking in the diet. 4. The natural trace elements act as catalysts, which aid in metabolism, and cell building. 5. These minerals form a gel-like substance that acts as a protective coating in the intestinal tract. 6. These minerals contain both ferrous and ferric iron. Ferrous irons for the hemoglobin (red coloring-matter of the blood) formation, and ferric irons for the muscular cells. 7. Minerals function in maintaining osmotic pressure and influence contractility of muscles. 8. Minerals enter into the synthesis of every living cell and they influence the vital processes of oxidation, secretion, growth, and reproduction. 9. Mineral elements are essential to the structure of certain complex chemical compounds, which influence the course of metabolism."

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THE WORLD URGENTLY NEEDS “GLOBAL RESTORATION AGRICULTURETM” TM

THE USREM GOAL:

Our goal is to focus on soil health, nutrition, sustainability and efficiency. Emphasis is on constant improvement in the health for people, land, water plants and animals. We provide a product that increases the yield of any crop in any climate, while maintaining high quality and nutritional values. The product sharply reduces insect infestations and diseases so plants thrive healthily with all needed nutrients. Based on numerous field tests, plants’ immune systems and soil become strong, healthy, as insects and disease avoid the strongest, healthiest plants. Animals and people consuming the plants are getting the most nutritious food possible, additional studies indicate People will reduce overeating because their bodies do not crave essential minerals, carbohydrates, amino acids, or lipids. Diseases such as diabetes, cancer, heart disease, and the autoimmune diseases will become things of the past. Children will grow up able to develop to their full genetic potential; their intelligence and strength will no longer be limited by malnutrition; nor toxic chemicals. Fewer acres of cropland will be required to feed more people and animals. The emphasis will shift from harvested tonnage to harvested nutrition and value for the world.

By: Paul W. Hait, CEO/ Chairman US Rare Earth Minerals, Inc.

The ancient Mayan calendar predicts the world will come to an end on December 21, 2012 due to the alignment of the planets. If you research why the Mayan Civilization disappeared, it is easy to see how they might have believed that the world was going to come to an end. They were exposed to a severe and prolonged drought, combined with too high of a population density in a relatively small geographic area. They continuously over-harvested without returning to their agricultural soils the minerals so vitally needed to sustain the health of their civilization. As a result, their local food became more and more toxic. Drought conditions and mineral depleted soils, caused by over farming, caused a slowing down of plant germination and its resultant normal development to its harvest point. This slow germination and water shortage stressed growth, led to late harvests with their

The Benefits of Using EXCELERITE®: Environmentally and Socially Responsible Sustainable Agriculture

By restoring the full-spectrum of properly balanced natural minerals EXCELERITE® replaces to the Earth’s soil that which has been depleted for generations. Go beyond Organic, add nutrients too, and be EXCELERITE®!grown.

EXCELERITE® saves you money on your current fertilizer program by reducing NPK Fertilizer use by up to ½ the first year alone. EXCELERITE® can save up to 1/3 over your existing fertilizer program, depending on specific crop and geographic location. There is also an additional savings by eliminating the need for fungicide and pesticides in most circumstances.

EXCELERITE® requires no special equipment for application and can be used with all existing farm

equipment.

EXCELERITE® contains over 78 Elements, which provide the full spectrum of elements available to the plant/crop. The uptake of these specific elements allows the plant/crop to realize its full growth, health, and nutritional value potential.

EXCELERITE® is non-toxic, therefore there is no toxic runoff or related hypoxia issues; it is truly a Green product. Masks and gloves are not required. This is a huge benefit for farming given the current EPA move to set limits on Fertilizer Pollution along with the push in Congress to pass the Clean Water Restoration Act.

EXCELERITE® re-mineralizes the soil, strengthens the root system of the crop, thereby increasing Carbon Sequestration to make the crop healthier and able to withstand the stress associated with disease and weather, including extreme temperature and water variations. EXCELERITE® fulfills the Genetic Elemental Uptake Permission (GEUP) for minerals for each individual crop, thereby producing maximum grain size and optimum taste.

EXCELERITE® provides 10-20% and sometimes-higher yields for crops, depending on specific crop and geographic location.

EXCELERITE® helps the farmer manage his costs, through consistent pricing, thereby avoiding the fluctuating costs of most fertilizer programs.

Microbes need to be fed too!

With out microbes, we would all die. The work they do in our soil is incredibly complex but it all boils down to this: microbes eat, thus we eat. Plants are unable to take from the soil the nutrition they need without microbes working in the soil. Microbes are alive, and must have nutrition to survive, and that nutrition comes from organic matter. As they consume the nutrients they need, microbes create foods like nitrogen, carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, phosphorus, potassium and trace minerals for our plants. It is the microbes that convert the NPK and minerals in the soil into a form our plants can use to grow and produce food and flowers for us. Microbes Microbes are everywhere. They are in the air, in the rivers and oceans, in our drinking water, in the soil, and on our skin. Of course we know some microbes are bad, like e. coli and salmonella, but more are considered beneficial and out-compete pathogens for survival in the soil. There are all kinds of microbes, like algae, protozoa, bacteria and fungi, with many others waiting to be discovered. Their populations in soil are numerous: as many as one billion of up to 13,000 species can reside in a single gram of soil.[1] (1 gram = 0.0022 pounds, so maybe a teaspoon?) Most microbes need organic carbon to live; they get this from eating wood chips, leaves, manures and other organic materials added to the soil. As microbes digest organic matter, they create humus which increases soil structure, good for root penetration and development. (Compaction can nullify much of this action.) Microbes also get some carbon from the rhizosphere (the area immediately around plant roots) because roots give off substances the microbes can use, like sugars and amino acids... and then the microbes convert some of it back in forms the plants can use, as minerals, vitamins, nitrogen and amino acids. (Amino acids are the building blocks of protein. Humans need 20 amino acids to make muscle, hair, skin, and connective tissue, and human bodies only make 10 of them. The others must be supplied by food from plants and animals.[2]) Many garden products are available containing beneficial microbes for the soil. Some are in the fast-acting form of foliar sprays, and some are home-brewed compost teas used to spray or drench. In all cases, foliar sprays are not enough; there must also be organic matter continually available in the soil for the microbes to eat. The leaves, compost and/or manure you added last summer need continual replenishment.

Abstract of Report Prepared 4 DEC 2003 By Aria Amirbahman PhD PE

Associate Professor of Environmental Engineering Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering

THE UNIVERSITY OF MAINE Report contains data and analysis for metal content in “sea humic minerals”. Metals were extracted using two different techniques, and measurements specifically for Aluminum, Arsenic, Cadmium, Chromium, Copper, Iron, Lead, Manganese, Mercury, and Zinc were performed. Both procedures followed are well documented in scientific soil and sediment analysis literature.

1) “Sequential” Extraction involves the use of mild as well as strong reagents to sequentially extract different metal fractions. These extractions were performed in triplicate and based upon the procedure of Hieltjes & Lijklema, 1980, “Fractionation of inorganic phosphates in calcareous” sediments,” Journal of Environmental Quality, 9, 405-407 and consisted of four stages: 1 Extraction with 1 M NH4Cl for 30 minutes using 10 mL + 10 mL rinse 2 Extraction with 0.1 M NaOH for 20 hours using 25 mL + 25 mL rinse 3 Extraction with 0.5 M HCl for 30 minutes using 25 mL + 25 mL rinse 4 Total microwave-assisted digestion of remaining material using 8 mL aqua regia (1

part HNO3 : 3 parts HCl) and final dilution to 100 mL 2) Extraction of fulvic and humic acid fractions procedures currently in place in the EPA-

certified laboratory of the University of Maine, are based on the paper by E.M. Thurman and T.L. Malcom (1981) “Preparative isolation of aquatic humic substances.” Environmental Technology, 15 463-466. The methodology is also recommended by the international Humic Substances Society (IHSS).

Interpretations: Base-insoluble fraction 925.9 g/kg – solid total 92.6% Humic acid fraction 0.8 g/kg – total solid <1.0% Fulvic acid fraction 73.3 g/kg – total solid 7.3% By definition, the humic acid is the precipitated fraction, and fulvic acid is the dissolved fraction at pH = 1.0

No detectable Fe could be extracted using NH4Cl indicating that all Fe isin the form of mineral oxide or hydroxide. The microwave-extractable Iron is primarily crystalline mineral Fe-(hydr)oxide that is not extracted using the 0.5 M HCl solution. No detectable Pb was extracted either, suggesting that Pb is primarily associated with Fe minerals, as is usually observed in natural soil and sediments. Pb is normally not only associated with mineral surfaces, but its adsorption to these surfaces is enhanced as pH increases. Both these observations are expected for the association of Pb with natural soils and sediments. However, a strong acidic solution is necessary to desorb it. Association of Pb with mineral oxides, such as ferric hydroxide is prevalent in most environmental samples. The ion-exchangeable As is 0.30 mg/kg-dry material. Most of this fraction is adsorbed to the mineral surface. Arsenic is anionic in environmental systems, even though it is classified as a metal. The anionic nature of As (whether arsenate or arsenite) inhibits its associations with natural organic matter to a great extent. The ion-exchangeable Hg is 0.0025 mg/kg-dry material. It is expected that most of this fraction is associated with organic matter that is dissolved under basic (alkaline) conditions given the favorable association of Hg with natural organic matter. The microwave tests confirmed Mercury’s association with insoluble, relatively non-bio-available organic matter.

Again, both these species (i.e., Arsenic and Mercury) are expected to be associated with the mineral surface in ionic form.
