Cultural Note:

When people go out to eat or to the movies, the person inviting pays for his/her friends. Sometimes, when acquaintances are on a bus or other means of transportation,each struggles to pay for the other. This also happens when friends are having snacks/lunch in cafeterias or restaurants.

Expressions Use:

Heto na ang bayad. Tama ka na. Ako ang magbabayad. Ako naman ngayon. Ako ang taya.
