MYCA Board is a calcium silicate based mineral board jointly developed by Tristone

Inc. Taiwan and Asahi Group Japan.

MYCA Board has been a very popular fire protection material in the region. We

have successfully developed R生YCA Board fire rated installations passing tests to

BS476, CNS 6532 and JIS A1321 for different building functions. MYCA Board has

also been hygienically tested for suitable use in catering and clinical areas.

MYCA Board has won extensive favourable acceptance of leading developers, public

utility companies and Government Departments. Both Architectural Services

Department and MTR have selected MYCA Board as one of their specified materials

for partition construction.

MYCA Board can be applied to a wide variety of applications and so our Technical Section is always ready to provide first class professional technical service for customers aiming at achieving a fit-for-purpose and cost effective solution.

Our company owns a well managed local storage warehouse ensuring sufficient supplies from stock to fulfill customer's changing needs and satisfy their requirement of small quantity just-in-time delivery.

Passive fire protection is a system comprising building elements ,hat contribute to the intrinsic fire safety of a building or oth廿complex construction, e.g. railway premises, shopping centres and offices. This protection is quantified by i certified time period of fire protection rating which is a requirement in the compartmentation of a building structu況 R叫ui叫periods in national or international bu叫ng時ulations are usually 2 to 4 hours by discrete increments.

There are three properties in these rated periods in BS476: Part 20 namely

(l) Integrity’ (2) Insulation and (3) Stability. In some applications, both integrity and

insulation properties are required while some other applications{equire only integrity.They are clearly stipulated in the Code of Practice for Firie Resisting Construction. 1

Users are advised to ref er to this Code of Practice in selecting passive fire protectioifsystems.

MYCA Board fire rated wall and ceiling systems meet all 向e above requirements.

MYCA board comes with a big variety of thicknesses and surface textures in form of pressed indented patterns for direct application to ceilings, walls and fire protection constructions.

Standard board thickness: 6mm, 8mm’ 9mm and 12.5mm. Other board thickness: from 6mm to 20mm.

Standard surface texture: flat and a number of pressed indented patterns to choose from. Non-standard patterns are available on request.
