Creation Festival this year for 4 days and

nights of live Christian Bands and Christian

speakers. We will be camping out in tents with

a RV Camper available for cooking, restroom

Sunday School Program

Starts June 7th

This summer CVZ elementary children will learn the baseball themed musical drama In The Big Inning. Starting June 7th during the Sunday School hour (Sundays at 9:45am) the children will learn lessons and do activities as well as prepare to perform the musical at the end of the summer on Sept. 24th. All kids are invited to come and step up to the plate and swing for the fences of fun and faith as we sing, act, dance and drive home the Good News of the Gospel.

Zion Church on Friday JULY 28, 6:00pm 9:00pm.

We are planning on spending Friday evening with lots of fellowship, food, and fun. Some

activities will include karaoke, kickball, volleyball, cornhole, relays and/or other fun

games- plus a a campfire with s’mores. Please keep an eye out for more information to come as July approaches. See Sarah Spicher for any

activity suggestions or questions about this fun CVZ family event.

A pavilion is reserved at Knoebels for a CVZ Church picnic and a day of fun at the park for Aug. 6th. Hotdogs, drink and paper goods will be provided by CVZ Church and a sign up sheet will be available for those attending to bring a side dish or dessert. Plan to come and enjoy this fun day together as a Church family.

The Spiritual Life Committee has decided to

change the Marriage retreat scheduled for

September 8-10, 2017 at Camp Hebron to a

Women’s retreat. (Same time, same place)

Seaside Escape helps women find rest and

relaxation from the hustle and bustle of life as

they slow down and spend time with God and

each other. This beach-themed retreat will

include Bible studies spent on the stories of

Sarah and Hagar, uplifting worship, a time for

Christian service, and relationship-building

activities. We will discover the depth of God’s

love, strength, and compassion during our

time together.

Cost for the retreat ranges from $135 to $190

(depending the number of guests per room). A

fundraiser is being planned in order to reduce

the cost. See Ruth Knapp or Deb Fedor for

more details and to register.

WINGS is a women’s helps ministry serving the church in providing meals and cards for

the sick, funeral dinners, college care packages and the Angel Tree at Christmas. WINGS also helps with the church interior design in raising funds for special items to

enhance the look and function of CVZ Church. WINGS meets the first Tuesday of the month at 7pm in the social hall. All women of the

church are invited to join us.

Love being a part of a Choir or singing 4 part

harmony? Shane Gherrity is interested in putting

together a Choir or even just a Quartet. If you

love to sing and love singing in a group please
