Tonight’s Aims
To inform you about the EYFS and to explain the areas of learning and development.
To talk about the ways in which children learn and the importance of parent partnerships.
To give you key information and to collect your child’s forms.
What is the Early Years Foundation Stage?
It is based on the recognition that children learn best through play and
active learning.

Suitable Clothing
• Comfortable and safe clothing appropriate
for the weather – jogging bottoms.
• Washable for daily ‘messy’ play - not best clothes!
• Suitable footwear for active play and weather – No laces or open-toes, velcro is best!
• No jewellery.
• Hair tied back.
Welfare Matters • Medical Needs.
• Administration of medicines requires prior
written consent.
• Allergies.
• Sickness and Diarrhoea - 48 hours clear absence must follow.
• Temperature above 37.5 degrees - 24 hours absence must follow.
• Little upsets.
Home Visits
Monday 11th September – Friday 15th September 2017
Morning Slot
You will be visited between 9am & 11.45am
Afternoon Slot
You will be visited between 1pm and 3.15pm
Each home visit will be no longer than 10mins
