  • No Formal meeting minutes this time! The regular meeting of the Saskatoon Amateur Radio Club was cancelled for December in favor of another regular activity in December, our Christmas party or feast, take your pick! Again, it was held at The Cave restaurant and we had a good attendance of hams and partners. President Terry, VE5HF opened the event with greetings to all and asked Herb, VE5HE to say grace. We each ordered from the menu and as usual, the food was great! There was a gift exchange for those who wanted to participate and your secretary picked out a nice-sized box which it turns out, held a dozen Christmas crackers which he says are being distributed to whatever Home Care health aides call on him. The marine radio receiver donated by Per, VE5PER, was won by Gus, VE5SPI. It was a friendly get-together with everyone wishing each other the merriest Christmas and more best wishes for 2008. Herb Essenburg - VE5HE Secretary
