  • Vibration Measurements RMS Velocity RMS (root-mean-square) velocity is the most common and effective measure of machine vibration severity in rotating equipment. It is an indication of the vibration energy produced by the machine It is expressed in inches per second (in/s) or millimeters per second (mm/s)
