• De honingbijen als mogelijke bio-indicator voor de niet-thermische gevolgen van EMF.

• Proef gedaan met draadloze werkende DECT telefoons, 1900 Mhz gepulseerd om de 100 Hz, direct op de bodem van de bijenkorven geplaatst (4 bijenkorven van 30-40.000 honingbijen).

• De resultaten: 20% gewichtsverlies van de blootgestelde kolonies ten opzichte van de controlekolonies.

• In een blootgestelde bijenkorf is minder dan 50% van de honingbijen teruggekomen, met een duidelijk langere terugkeertijd (méér dan 400%). Een andere blootgestelde bijenkorf werd volledig verlaten.

The European Parliament

• In September 2004, MEPs voted 522 to 16 to urge ministers across Europe to bring in stricter radiation limits and said: “The limits on exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMFs) which have been set for the general public are obsolete”.

• The European Parliament "is greatly concerned at the Bio-Initiative international report which points in its conclusions to the health risks posed by emissions from devices such as mobile telephones, UMTS,WiFi, WiMax and Bluetooth, and also DECT telephones".


Conclusies: er zijn maatregelen nodig (dringend!) Gezondheid voor de mensen is veel belangrijker

dan wilde communicatie

• EM straling – milieu+gezondheid - aanpassing huidige wetgeving

• Strengere normen: eerste stap 0,6 V/m; tweede stap 0,06 V/m

• Schadelijke effecten zijn accumulatief: GSM-masten, UMTS-masten, GSM’s, Wi-Fi, DECT telefoons, draadloze toestellen, hot spots, etc – nieuwe strengere normen mogen niet integraal overschreden worden

• Nieuwe (en gezonde!) normen voor industrie: GSM, DECT en alle andere draadloze toestellen van veel lagere EMS niveaus zijn dringend nodig


Conclusies: er zijn maatregelen nodig (dringend!) Gezondheid voor de mensen is veel belangrijker

dan wilde communicatie

• Combinatie van draadloze technologie met optische vezelkabels om EMS te minimaliseren

• Zeer brede en intensieve informatie aan de bevolking over mogelijke gezondheidsproblemen ivm EMS

• Het verbod van GSM reclame voor kinderen

• Geen GSM-masten op/in de buurt van scholen ziekenhuizen, grote appartementsgebouwen, etc

• Geen “hot spots, i-cities” met bestaande hoge EMS normen
