We now carry a medium roast instead of our light roast that we used to have. We’ll be offering all sorts of seasonal specialties as they become available. We’re currently brewing “Jamaican Me Crazy” which has caramel notes. This month is also Saint Patrick’s Day, so we’ll have our annual corned beef and cabbage luncheon as well as other Irish dishes throughout the month. Mark your calendar for this month’s Sunday brunch scheduled for March 19th! We hope you’ve checked out our new A La Carte menu! Let’s not forget, Spring is officially here this month so bring on the warmer weather and outdoor BBQ’s! Ben Franklin was a man in our past.He accomplished a lot and his name will last.When he was a young man,he didn’t what he could be.Someone said you may discover electricity.Ben said “I will try with all my might.”His friends said “while you think about it,why don’t you go fly a kite.

A Real Life Indiana Jones: Morton Hahn

Morton was born in Brookline, NY. In 1959, hereceived a collegiate degree at Adelphi University. Whilein college, Morton focused on track and field. Hecompeted in many countries and won a Bronze medal forthe Javelin at the Pan American games. He won over 600medals and was the only man to win 12 gold medals inone day at the Garden State Games.

Professionally, Morton worked in the field ofpaleontology, helping to assist Harvard with theirPaleontology, Malacology and Mineral Programs. Hetraveled the world looking for fossils, rocks and shells. Heonce owned the world’s second largest shell collection,second only to the emperor of Japan. His wife owned atravel agency and that allowed them to travel all over theworld collecting samples.
