and spring in an elementary school!

Reading, Writing, Math, Science and Social Studies are as important as ever...but by themselves, they are not enough to bring

about a successful and meaningful life. Come and hear how the Greentree Gators are

growing in the Great 8 skills for life. These skills include Optimistic Thinking,

Relationship Skills, Self-Management, Goal Directed Behavior, Decision Making,

Personal Responsibility, Self-Awareness and Social Awareness, and they all help

to set the stage for a life of wellness and purpose. The meeting will be in the Library at 6:30. Leave the little gators behind and enjoy a night of educational fun, light snacks will be served. Attend and your Gator will have the

opportunity to eat on the stage at lunch!!REFLECTIONS!!

A BIG THANK YOU to our Principals of the Day Ms. Suzanna Cradic and Mr.

Wyatt Rodriguez! They won the opportunity to run our school for a day at

the Fall Festival Silent Auction, and they did a great job!!

_______________________________Calling All Volunteers to help with

everybody counts!!!!We are seeking volunteers to lead your class in a one hour lesson focused on the challenges and victories that people living with disabilities face daily.    All materials will be provided to you along with a brief

training. Please join us the week of January 23 - 27th as we cannot make this worthwhile

program happen without volunteers like you!

Be the Change Week is an initiative

designed to teach and encourage bullying prevention. Students will learn the three R’s in response to

bullying:Recognize

RefuseReport

Through school-wide activities and class discussions, we will focus on

respect toward our peers, kindness to others and appreciating the

differences that make each of us unique. Please talk with your

student(s) about this valuable, fun-filled week.

Monday—Student Holiday (no school)Tuesday—Sign Resolution of Respect Pledge – Wear Greentree Gator School shirt/green shirt.

Wednesday— “Team up against bullying” – Wear your favorite jerseys or sports team apparel.Thursday—“Stand out, be you and be a friend” Wear crayon colors – Appreciate difference day. Friday—“Tame the Teasing” Crazy Hair DayReflect on Respect and filling each other’s buckets!!
