3. Schedule and program of competition:
Ø 18 September 2014 (Thursday) - 18.00 – 20.00 – control of equipment
– confirmation of fencer’s participation – payment of entry fee for individual and team competition
Ø 19 September 2014 (Friday) – individual competition
Men sabre
- 07.00 – 08.30 - control of equipment - 08.30 – opening competition
Women sabre
- 11.00 – 13.30 – control of equipment - 13.30 – opening competition
→ 2 rounds in poules, direct elimination till “64” → from every round 20-30% of fencers must be eliminated → ranking in direct elimination table only from second round of poules

09.00 – 10.30 – „64” on 8 pistes (4 rounds) 10.30 – 12.00 – „32”on 4 pistes (4 rounds) 12.00 – 12.40 – „16” on 4 pistes (2 rounds) 12.50 – 13.10 – „8” on 4 pistes (1 round) 18.00 – finals (4 fencers) – decoration (8 fencers)
Women sabre
13.30 – 15.00 – „64” on 8 pistes (4 rounds) 15.00 – 16.30 – „32” on 4 pistes (4 rounds) 16.30 – 17.10 – „16” on 4 pistes (2 rounds) 17.10 – 17.30 – „8” on 4 pistes (1 round) 18.00 – finals (4 fencers) – decoration (8 fencers)
→ direct elimination from “64”

- 08.30 – opening competition
Women sabre
- 13.00 – opening competition
→ Initial ranking from individual competitions, direct elimination formula
4. Entry fee: Ø 15 Euro – individual competition (per fencers), 20 Euro – team competition (per team)
5. Inscriptions: by national federation office at the EFC website only!
Polish clubs must send the lists with fencers to Polish Fencing Federation. Polish Fencing Federation makes inscriptions (max 64 fencers) at the EFC website.
Also all referees must be entered through EFC website the same way as fencers, i.e. assisted by national fencing federation’s offices!
6. Referee’s quotas:
- 1-4 fencers – no referee required - 5-9 – 1 referee - 10-15 – 2 referees - 16-20 – 3 referees
Non respect of quota is sanctioned by 500 EUR for every missing referee. 7. Equipment: clothes and masks minimum 350 NW, underwear 800 NW. 8. Accommodation: Clubs are responsible for their accommodation. We advise to make hotel reservation earlier. In September it will be difficult to find free places. v Hotel „Konin” **

10. During the competition the buffet will be opened. 11. Last year in our sabre tournament started 219 fencers from: Belarus, Czech Republic,
France, Canada, Latvia, Germany, Russia, Romania, Turkey, Ukraine, USA, Hungary, Italy and Poland.
