‧上海VRV III-S系列 Shanghai VRV III-S Series

新的VRV III-S系列有六款不同的室內機，能夠充分滿足各種不同的裝修環境，還可因應房間的大小及用途選擇不同的冷量。室外機為

側出風系列，匹數分為4HP、5HP、6HP和9HP，機身厚度僅為350mm，能有效地節省室外機的安裝位置。而機組在節能方面亦極為

出色，採用大金渦旋式變頻壓縮機，配合高效率熱交換器和直流變頻風扇，系統的IPLV制冷綜合性能系數達到國家能效等級1級。對

於建築面積為110 ~ 200m2的樓房， 新推出的上海VRV III-S系列絕對是理想的選擇，能為住戶提供一個舒適的空調環境。

Beside new VRV III series, there will also be new VRV III-S introduced from Shanghai. Six different types of indoor unit are available

which can suit various interior designs. A wide house power range offers a good option for different usage and the room size. The

horse power of outdoor units ranges from 4HP, 5HP, 6HP and 9HP. The thickness is as slim as 350mm which can save a lot of space

effectively. Due to the adoption of reluctance DC scroll compressor, high efficient heat exchanger and DC inverter exhaust fan,

IPLV(C) of the system is much higher than the first class level in China. It will be an ideal option to provide a good air-conditioning

environment for residential area in 110 ~ 200m2.

‧上海VRV III系列 Shanghai VRV III Series

VRV III的室外機產品系列是由8HP至48HP，有多個不同匹數供客戶選擇。基本型號有8HP、10HP、12HP、14HP、16HP，值得留意的是

除了10HP同時採用定頻及變頻壓縮機之外，所有基本型號均全部採用變頻壓縮機，換言之如果組合機組內沒有10HP基本型號在內，此機

組將會採用全變頻技術，從而快速精準地達到室內設定溫度，提高房間的舒適度。此外，室內機的款式繁多，除了多款不同的導管型之

外，還有常用的卡式嵌入型及掛牆型等等均可滿足不同的室內設計環境。節能方面，高效率熱交換器配合直流變頻風扇令效能進一步提

高，而系統的IPLV(C)值平均高達5.6，遠超國家一級能效等級。

The product range of the outdoor units of VRV III is from 8HP to 48HP. Basic modules are 8HP, 10HP, 12HP, 14HP and 16HP. Besides

10HP which uses inverter and non-inverter compressors simultaneously, all basic modules adopt inverter compressors. In other words,

if the combination of outdoor units does not include 10HP model, the system will be operated by all inverter technology. It leads to quick

approach of set temperature and high comfort level. On the other hand, there are different types of indoor units. Other than various duct

types, there are also cassette type and wall mount type which can fulfill different interior design requirement. Moreover, this series is so

environmental friendly that it uses a high efficient heat exchanger and DC inverter exhaust fan which raise the efficiency of the system.

The IPLV(C) of the system reaches as high as 5.6, which is much higher than the first class level in China.

VRV Club “Chok” 墨魚大賽VRV Club Squid Fishing Night

“Chok” “Chok” “Chok” ! 大金與眾人一起 “Chok” ! 承蒙各VRV Club會員的熱烈參與，大金於2011年7月29日在鯉魚門舉辦的VRV Club

“Chok”墨魚大賽順利舉行。在每年的三月開始便是墨魚的繁殖期，六月至八月小墨魚已長大所以海域內的大型墨魚數量大增，實屬釣

墨魚的好時機。活動當日在正式出海前，我們先讓各位專貴的會員享用一頓豐富的海鮮宴，待會兒有足夠精力“Chok”，眾人均吃得津

津有味。用膳後眾人就準備登上豪華遊艇出海了，為寧靜的大海添上一份熱鬧。各會員集中精神留意海上的變化，若有墨魚出現便難

逃上釣的命運。參賽者釣獲的墨魚經工作人員記錄後，立即交由船家為我們烹調，剛釣獲的墨魚鮮味十足，每位會員看見後都食指大

動。一邊 “Chok”，一邊享用美食，不知不覺間活動已到達尾聲。在此，大金再次感謝各會員對VRV Club的支持，並期待下一次活動能

得到各會員的積極參與。

Thanks for the support of all VRV Club members, Daikin VRV Club held a VRV Club Squid Fishing Night in Lei Yue Mun on 29 July

2011. Squids usually breed and reproduce in every March of the years, then squid baby grows up from June to August. It was the

best time for squid fishing, as the quantity of adult squid increases in this period. At the beginning of the event, we offered a delicious

seafood dinner to members and everyone enjoyed it so much. After the dinner, we started boarding the yacht and squid fishing ,

while a happy atmosphere on the quiet ocean was created by us. Every members paid all their attention in fishing, and it is afraid that

no squids could escape from them. The squid fished by our members were recorded and then cooked by the captain immediately.

The squids were so fresh that all of us liked them very much. After the award ceremony, the function was ended with the voice of

exciting and fun. Now, we would like to once again thank you for all members supporting VRV Club.

VRV Club 國慶日煙花之夜VRV Club Nat ional Day Firework Night

每年國慶日，維多利亞上空會舉行國慶煙花匯演。今晚大金VRV Club於尖沙咀國際廣場舉行了VRV Club 國慶日煙花之夜，在這個普天

同慶的日子與眾同樂。該食府於2011年被評為米芝蓮一星餐廳，而且景致開揚，實屬觀賞煙花匯演的好地方。煙花匯演開始之前，先讓

各會員品嚐米芝蓮一星等級的佳餚，金榜醬煮大蝦、龍蝦湯泡貴妃飯等多款美食讓眾人垂涎欲滴。除了美食佳餚之外，當然還準備了一

連串特別的有獎遊戲；今次的遊戲的關鍵在於各會員的信用卡或身份証號碼能否符合大會的要求，大家一邊進食之餘亦不忘核對自己的

証件號碼能否中獎。當時間快將到達九時正，現場的燈光漸漸調暗，國慶煙花匯演即將開始了! 今年的主題是「華夏齊心賀國慶」，有很

多不同圖案的煙花，例如紅太陽、小朋友可愛笑臉、「中國十一」四個紅色字形⋯各式各樣的煙花圖案在夜空中綻放，在近距離欣賞如

此壯觀的煙花匯演，令眾人目不暇給。隨後的頒獎儀式結束後，是次活動亦完滿結束，在此感謝各會員對大金VRV Club的支持，並期

待下一次活動再和大家見面。

Every year National Day Firework Performance is held in Victoria Harbour. This year Daikin VRV Club held a National Day Firework Night

in i-Square, Tsim Sha Tsui. That restaurant earns one star in Michelin Guide this year. They get an open view of Victoria Harbour so it

is a fantastic place to enjoy the Firework performance. Before the performance started, we were served by the delicious Michelin-one-

star dinner and everyone enjoyed it very much. On the other hand, we have prepared a lot of games for our members, which related to

their credit cards number or ID card number. When every member was eating, they also concentrated on their card numbers to see if

they can get the awards. When the time was almost nine o’clock, the lighting became dimmer and dimmer and the firework show was

about to begin. This year, the title of the performance was celebrating together. There were different pictures of firework, for example,

the sun, smiling face, etc. Watching the firework in such a close distance gave a valuable experience to us. After the award ceremony

ended, the function was ended with the voice of exciting and fun. Now, we would like to once again thank you for all members support-

ing VRV Club.

祝賀『冷暖情懷在香江』出版！美國供暖制冷及空調工程師學會香港分會於2011年9月18日為新書舉行了出版發報會。『冷暖情懷在香江』是香港首本記載了暖通空調及制冷系統方面演變發展及前瞻未來動向的文獻。我們大金冷氣亦非常榮幸能參與新書編輯工作及成為贊助商之一。此著作不但包含了各工程師於項目設計、施工及運作時的大智慧外，還輯錄了25楝香港著名建築物難得的設計圖樣及照片。變頻多聯式空調技術(VRV)的發展史是香港冷氣史重要的一環，書中當然有詳細記載。日本大金工業株式會社於1982年推出了全球首套分體多聯式空調VRV為全球冷氣史立下重要的里程碑。經過廿多年的不斷努力，我們於室外機容量、冷媒管長度及其他方面都有不斷提升滿足業界的需要。除此之外，大金是唯一一家廠商同時擁有生產冷媒及冷氣機組的技術。為響應日益增強的全球環保關注，我們於開發及生產時都灌注了三個“R”的概念包括減少(reduce)、再用(reuse)、回收(recycling)，另外更提倡修理務求令資源可以得到最全面運用。

Congratulation for “Cool Hong Kong” launching! The launching ceremony was hold on 18-Sep,2011 by ASHREA Hong Kong Chapter.“Cool Hong Kong” is the first book in Hong Kong documentating the development and future outlook of HVAC&R for the local building industry. We, Daikin, are honor to be one of the contributors to sponsor and assist in editing. This book is not only a collection of the wisdom of the engineers who involved the system design, construction and operation but also a collection of many precious photos and drawings, 25 renowned building projects were included. VRV development is also one of the section in the book. Daikin Industrial Ltd. launched the first set of VRV in the world in 1982, which definitely is a air-conditioning system development milestone. Through out these twenty years, we continue to develop the outdoor unit capacity, piping length and other aspects to satisfy demand of the trade. Besides, Daikin is the only one producing both air-conditioners and refrigerants. In response to the world’s increasing environmental consciousness, we combine the three ‘R’ of reducing, reusing, and recycling with ‘repairing’ as a guideline for initiatives on effective resource utilization in product development and design.

今期會員『尊』訊，我們與大家探討有關故障代碼【U9】的安裝個案。故障代碼【U9】是指『室內機:同一系統內的室內機和室外機之間

的傳送故障』。一般情況下此故障代碼會與其他故障碼(包括【U4】或【UE】)同時一併出現的。其實顯示【U9】的室內機運行是正常沒

有故障的，但同系統內有一台或多台室內機出現了異常。

舉例，一套18匹VRV III 室外機連接了4 台環繞氣流天花板卡式嵌入型室內機，於運行時其中三台室內機出現了【U9】故障碼，而其中一

台室內機亦同時顯示【UE】。這情況表示出現【U9】的三台室內機是正常的，只有顯示【UE】的出現了訊號傳送故障（如下圖示)。所

以，技術人員可以專注檢查出現了【UE】或其他故障碼的室內機。要處理【UE】技術員應檢查中央控制器至室內機的訊號線接駁、室內

機至室外機的訊號線接駁以及室內機的供電情況。處理完以上問題後，重設所有室內機的電源便完成。

We would like to introduce a case study for Malfunction Code “U9” in this issue. Malfunction Code “U9” means “Indoor unit: Detect

the malfunction signal of any other indoor unit within the system concerned”. This malfunction code usually will appear together with

another code such as “U4” or “UE”. It means the unit display “U9” is normal, but another indoor unit(s) in the same system is/ are

abnormal.

For example, a set of 18HP VRVIII outdoor unit connected with four cassette type indoor units; during operation three of the indoor

units display “U9” while one displays “UE” at the same time (as shown below). That means the three display “U9” units are normal,

only the one displayed “UE” has communication error. So technician should focus on checking the indoor unit with “UE” or other error

code. In this case for malfunction “UE” , technician should check the transmission line between the centralized controller and the

indoor units, transmission line between indoor & outdoor unit and power supply of the indoor unit. After fixing the above failure, reset

the power supply of all the normal and failed units.

啟博堂的節能與舒適Energy saving & comfort of Kaboodle

今年大金香港推行「綠色之心減碳計劃」，希望各界使用大金冷氣的同時亦能做到減少碳排放量節省更多的能源。於此項目，我們為客戶提供智能中央控制器i-touch將CMS系統聯繫至日本大金的伺服器中，其後系統會自動微調冷媒溫度等參數令系統發揮額外的節能效果，從而減少用電。啟博堂的董事長陳先生對大金CMS各方面的表現及中心整體的電費也感到非常滿意。此幼兒中心為未入讀幼稚園兒童提供預備班，舒適、安全及歡樂的環境給予學生和家長一個良好的學心情。中心總面積約23,000平方尺，其中包括1,000平方尺的遊樂場及多個不同功能的活動室，全場由5套CMS室外機及33台環繞氣流型天花嵌入式室內機於四季提供舒適又節能的冷暖氣。

In 2011, Daikin Hong Kong launches “Green Heart Action for Carbon Emission Reduction” encouraging everybody to reduce carbon emission and to improve energy saving capability by using Daikin air conditioners. In this case, a i-touch controller is provided to connect the CMS system to Daikin Japan’s server through internet. Then, the air conditioning system will slightly adjust the parameter of refrigerant temperature letting the system running with a better performance. Mr. Chan, Director of the Kaboodle Learning Group, expressed his satisfaction with the Daikin CMS system’s performance and the electrical bill. This learning centre, for the children before kindergarten, provide a comfort, safe and joyful environment to their students and families. The campus is around 23,000 square feet divided into 1,000 square feet playground and different function rooms. It is served by 5 CMS outdoor units and 33 round flow cassette type indoor units all around the year with cooling & heating mode.
