Taith Taf Gan ddechrau ym mae Caerdydd, mae’r Taith Taf yn mynd heibio atyniadau gwych megis Doctor Who Experience, Castell Caerdydd a Stadiwm y Mileniwm. Mewn taith fer cewch eich cludo o Gaerdydd gosmopolitan i nefoedd wledig. Byddwch yn beicio wyth milltir gweddol hamddenol ar hyd coridor afon Taf drwy gefn gwlad o goredau sy’n gyfoeth o fywyd gwyllt, cefnlenni mynyddig trawiadol a thyrrau hardd Castell Coch yn nythu yn ochr y mynydd. Ar y llwybr mae digonedd o fannau hardd i aros am bicnic cyn y cyrhaeddwch dref Pontypridd sy’n llawn treftadaeth ddiwydiannol. Taff Trail Starting in Cardiff Bay, the Taff Trail takes in some fantastic attractions such as the Doctor Who Experience, Cardiff Castle and the Millennium Stadium. Just a short ride away and you’re transported from cosmopolitan Cardiff to rural heaven. Cycle eight relatively gentle miles along the Taff corridor, to a land of crashing weirs rich with wildlife, impressive mountain backdrops and the picturesque Castell Coch perched on the mountainside. On the trail, there are plenty of pretty places to stop and picnic before arriving at the industrial heritage town of Pontypridd. Here you will find a museum, historic old bridge and the tranquil Ynysangharad War Memorial Park. Back on the trail, head for Merthyr Tydfil, a town built on iron and coal, and home to the magnificent Cyfarthfa Castle. Visit the Castle’s museum and art gallery before climbing steadily up the Torpantau Pass where you’ll discover the old Merthyr Railway. Ride on to Brecon through picture- perfect mountain landscapes, majestic waterfalls and crystal clear reservoirs, before arriving into Brecon town - home to a Cathedral, plenty of places to eat and drink, and quaint shops to browse in. Llwybr Cynon 478Gan ddilyn yr afon loyw drwy galon Cwm Cynon, mae’r llwybr hwn yn ddi-draffi g yn bennaf bob cam i Aberdâr.

Llwybr Trevithick 477Llwybr llawn golygfeydd anhygoel ar hyd yr union lwybr rheilffordd y teithiodd y locomotif stêm gyntaf erioed arno.

Blaenau’r Cymoedd 46Mae digon o ddringfeydd ar y llwybr hwn, ond maent yn werth yr ymdrech oherwydd y golygfeydd. Delfrydol ar gyfer beiciwr mwy profi adol sy’n chwilio am antur egnïol ar ddwy olwyn. Ceir hefyd rai adrannau di-draffi g addas i’r teulu yng nghyffi niau’r Fenni a Brynmawr.

Where will your next journey take you?Travelling right through the heart of Cardiff and the south Wales Valleys, the Taff Trail branches out to an array of other wonderful trails that offer a brilliant mixture of traffi c-free adventures and challenging rides for all ages and cycling abilities:

Bay Trail 8The best way to explore the array of attractions and activities in the bustling Cardiff Bay.

Celtic Trail 4From Nantgarw, this wonderful section of the Celtic Trail will take you on a traffi c-free journey from Nantgarw to Machen via the magnifi cent Caerphilly Castle.

Celtic Trail 47Follow the route eastward from Quakers Yard for a spectacular traffi c-free ride to Newport taking in Parc Penallta and beautiful Sirhowy Valley Country Park. For a challenging mountain biking adventure follow signs for route 47 westward from Pontypridd.

Rhondda Fach 881Explore Wales’ industrial heritage at Rhondda Heritage Park or relax in the gorgeously green Barry

Sidings Countryside Park.

Church Village and Tonteg Community RoutesThis 6-mile family friendly trail takes you on a lovely art and wildlife-fi lled journey to Llantrisant.

Cynon Trail 478Following the glistening river through the heart of the Cynon Valley, this Valleys trail is mostly traffi c free all the way to Aberdare.

Trevithick Trail 477An amazingly scenic trail along the very same railway path that carried the World’s fi rst ever steam locomotive.

Heads of the Valleys 46This route is not short of a hill or two, but the views are well worth the effort. Perfect for the more experienced cyclist looking for an invigorating 2-wheel adventure. There are also some fabulous traffi c-free family friendly sections around Abergavenny and Brynmawr.
