Your number one issue, and why? I think the property tax hike is ridiculous. Edmonton has the highest compounded property tax increase across Canada’s major city. 60% over last 10 years. I think we need to curb this. I will strongly propose a regulation that prevents tax increase over inflation rate. It has to be pre-approve by citizen before further increase. Number two issue, and why? Another concern I have is the accountability. Will you buy things without a price tag? or something that keep increasing? Look into our auditor report and you will see what I mean. How our city spend OUR money? Number three issue, and why? Recycling. Our city has good recycling plan, but they are not extended to commercial, by that, includes the school. It's ironic that many of us tried so hard to teach our young ones about recycling, and the school where they learn from, are throwing books into garbage bins. Remember this; we owe our younger generation this beautiful land, not landfills. They deserved it Can I bring in point 4? I am not happy on how our city decides on a few important issues without consulting the public. The sales of Epcor and airport. When the number is significant enough, we simply need to listen. As a tax payer, I am not prepared to pay the high price of legal action should the opposing parties taking action. Sometimes, it's better late than costy legal bills. City council has turned down a motion to hold a non-binding plebiscite on keeping the City Centre Airport as a general aviation facility. Should the new council reopen the airport issue? What are the three biggest issues in your campaign?

Your number one issue, and why?
