In 1994, Watts Water Technologies entered the Asian market and subsequently located its headquarters in Shanghai, China. Ever since, our manufacturing bases and liaison offices have sprung up across Asia, further consolidating our position in a market focused on Asia's basic water infrastructure. Our Asia team has successfully applied the Company's traditional advantages, developed through decades of experience in the U.S. and Europe, to large projects in China. Our efforts have won trust and acclaim from customers, and, subsequently, we have been contracted to provide products and service for state-level key construction projects, such as those for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, 2010 Shanghai World Expo, and 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou.

the comfort and safety of people and the quality, and the conservation of water. Our integrated solutions have helped our customers expedite sustainable development, while reducing the cost.

Watts Water Technologies is a respected global business, with manufacturing facilities in Europe, Asia, and North America. Since entering the Chinese market in 1994, Watts Water has established four facilities in China via direct investment: Watts (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd., Watts Valve (Ningbo) Co., Ltd., Watts Plumbing Technologies (Tai Zhou) Co., Ltd., and Watts (Ningbo) International Trading Co., Ltd. In 2007, the Company made the decision to base its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Shanghai, China, and to set up operational branches in Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Singapore, Australia and South Korea.

In recent years, Watts Water Technologies has continued to expand its business scope. The Company successfully completed the acquisition of Danfoss Socla S.A.S and the water-control businesses of affiliated entities under the control of Danfoss A/S in a share and asset purchase transaction in April 2011. By the end of 2011, we had more than 1,000 employees in Asia and our Company's investment in Asia totaled more than USD 20 million.Through technology innovation, continued capital injection, and by utilizing and training local talent, Watts Water has formed a solid basis for its long-term growth.

Founded in 1874 by Joseph

Watts, Watts Regulator Company, as we were originally known, made its reputation by "Setting

the Standard in Valve Technology." During

those early days, our Company manufactured pressure reducing

valves to regulate steam. It also

manufactured relief valves to ensure safe operation of water heaters and boilers.

In the early 1900s, it introduced the

revolutionary combination temperature and pressure

(T&P) relief valve, a protective device for use in hot water

supply tank systems. These T&P valves prevented dangerous hot water heater explosions and continue to be an integral part of today's water heating systems.

In the 1960s, our Company entered the international market, opening manufacturing plants in Canada and the United Kingdom. Since then, Watts Water has greatly expanded its international presence. In the 1970s, Watts Water entered the new and promising backflow prevention market. Backflow preventers were developed to prevent the backward flow of contaminated water into the potable water supply. These devices have become one of our most successful

product lines, and Watts Water continues to lead this market today.

In 1984, Watts Water began a series of acquisitions of both U.S. and foreign

valve companies and valve product lines to complement our core products. Such acquisitions are now an on-going component of our strategy to provide customers with the

most innovative flow control solutions that current technologies can offer.

Watts Water Products - HVAC

HVACOur Watts brand boasts a wide range of HVAC products, including but not limited to the following:

1) The balance valve series: static hydraulic balancing valves, dynamic pressure-difference balance valves, dynamic balancing valves, dynamic electrical control valves, and dynamic electric two-way balancing valves;

2) The control valve series: electrical two-way/three way regulating valves, FCU two-way/three-way valves, and electrical actuators;

3) Thermostat and control systems for air-conditioning and heating.

In early 1990's, Watts Water Technologies began to develop and sell balancing valve in North America. Static Balancing Valve and Triple Duty Valve were the key products at the beginning. Learning the experience from Watts US, Watts Asia engineered a series of tailor-made balancing valve products

Our Watts brand heating products and systems are manufactured in Italy, Germany, the United States, and France and imported to the Chinese market in their original packaging.
