1. "Tapas" from Granada are one of the most wellknown "tapas" in Spain. Not only because of theirvariety and taste, but also for their unbelievable price!
2. San Nicolás viewpoint is one the mostcharming places in Granada where dawn isspecially magic. The feeling of seeing Alhambrailluminated and the city of Granada at your feetwhile you listen to flamenco is indescribable.
3. In 1994, the Albaicín district in Granada was declaredWorld Heritage by UNESCO, accompanying thedeclaration of La Alhambra and Generalife in 1984.

4. The Carmen of Martyrs is a magnificentpalace surrounded by romantic gardens andnasrid orchads. From here you can getextraordinary panoramic views of SierraNevada, La Vega and the city.
6. Paseo de los Tristes is a well known street, for it servedas an inspiration for singers, poets and writers from allover the world through all the ages.

Granada is the city with the highest number of ERASMUSstudents as well as one of the excellent university cities ofAndalucía.

In Granada you don't have to choose between mountain andbeach, for it has both! Just 30km away from the city you canvisit Sierra Nevada, where you can ski and enjoy the snow.70km away from the city you can find the tropical coast withbeautiful beaches and a lot of fish!

Granada has a little airport 20 minutes away from the city with few operating flights.Nevertheless, Málaga airport is directly connected with Granada by bus and only 2hours away
Granada has a train station situated in the city center. Granada is linked bytrain to: Almeria, Algeciras, Madrid (via LinaresBaeza), Barcelona, Malagay Sevilla.
The bus station in Granada offers trip to many cities in the peninsule. It is themost economic way to get to Granada and there are a lot of temporarypromotions with cheap tickets
