Goat Milk & Oatmeal Soap

This is one of the classic soaps that you can trust. I didn’t know it could make washing experience so wonderful until I lathered the soap and put on my face. The lather was so gentle that I felt I had a lamby on my face. The oatmeal has a soft texture, too. It is not a scrubbing type of soap, but with layers of surprises. Oatmeal has been used as a home remedy to decrease various skin problems. We keep it simple this time. There is no fragrance, essential oil, or color to distract the extraordinary experience for this soap.

手工肥皂的原理

如同小時候化學課中所說，肥皂有兩

隻手，一隻手牽水，一隻手牽油，牽

油的手會與皮膚上的髒結合，牽水的

手會被乾淨的水帶走．

氫氧化鈉要靠水來溶解，溶解後的鹼

水與油結合在一起就成為肥皂．

（氫氧化鈉＋水）＋油＝肥皂

所有的肥皂剛做好酸鹼值都很強，還

不能使用，要放6-8個星期等待熟成才

能用喔．

手工皂與市售香皂的不同

1. 手工皂含有”甘油”，有保濕的功

效，市售的香皂甘油被抽走（拿去做

lotion），會導致皮膚乾澀，手工皂

好洗，清潔又不會導致皮膚乾澀．

2. 市售的沐浴乳含有太多添加物，防

腐劑、起泡劑、環境賀爾蒙等等，對

身體環境造成汙染傷害．

3. 手工肥皂純天然，不會殘留在皮膚

上，造成皮膚的負擔．

4. 自然的成分也會自然分解成水與二

氧化碳，不會汙染水源與環境．

手工肥皂的用法與保存

1.手工肥皂遇水後比較軟黏，請於每

次用完後，放在有瀝乾小孔的肥皂架

子上，使其通風，所以肥皂不至於太

快軟化，可以延長使用時間．

2.肥皂請於 1- 1 1/2年中用完，免得

中間含的油過期，會有異味．

3. 尚未使用的肥皂也請放置乾燥陰涼

處保存．

How Is the Soap Made?Soap is made of oil and lye. Lye has to dissolve in the water first, and combine with oils. The reaction called saponification. The soap is like having two hands: one hand holds onto the oil and dirt on your body while the other hand holds onto the clean water as you wash your hands.Handmade soap requires 6-8 weeks curing time before using.

The Difference Between Hand-made Soap and Store-bought Soap1. Handmade soap contains glycerin which nourishes your skin. However, the glycerin in Commercial soap is usually removed to make other skin care products like lotions. 2. Handmade soap uses all natural ingredients that will clean your skin without harsh chemicals such as pre-servative, or SLS.3. Because it is so natural, it will not pollute our sewage system.

Ways to Store Your Soaps1. Dry your soap in a airy place. Handmade soap will become softer after use. Please keep it on a drying rack without a bottom tray.2. Handmade soap is like oil. It can expire. Please use your soap within 2 years after you receive it.3. Please keep the unopened/ unused soap in a cool and dry place.

Couple Notes1. All the soap you buy are already cured and ready to use.2. If you have any irritation on the skin after using it, please rinse your skin with water. 最近有越來越多人跟我買洗髮皂，為的是要有

更天然更簡單的清洗方式，但是很多人一開始

使用，很容易打退堂鼓，因為跟想像中的”洗

髮精” 實在差很多．

所以我想跟大家分享”如何使用手工皂洗頭”

，各位愛美又愛健康的朋友，才能堅持使用下

去．

因為手工皂是很天然，又原始的東西，沒有添

加化學成分”進化”成好洗的洗髮精，不習慣

的人，真的真的會覺得很難用．

請給您手中的洗髮皂，三次到五次的使用機

會，讓它能把從前 build-up 的化學成分，從

你的頭髮洗去，你的頭髮才能發出正常健康的

光澤．

短頭髮或是已經用習慣的人，我建議直接用肥

皂洗，在手上搓出泡泡，再往頭上抹，這樣肥

皂可以用的比較久．

肩膀長度或更長的頭髮的人，可以先做成肥皂

水來使用．

第一次洗時，會覺得很乾很澀，頭髮通通打

結，連手指都放不進去，會很後悔沒有用原來

的洗髮精來洗．因為肥皂中的鹼，會把毛鱗片

打開，讓頭髮糾結一起，這時候請專心的清洗

你的頭皮，一定要洗到有很的泡泡，才會有夠

強的洗潔力，也許要洗兩道肥皂，專心把頭皮

洗乾淨，最後的沖水動作也務必要沖乾淨才不

會留下皂垢．頭幾次洗完，也許會覺得頭上怎

有黏黏的東西，好像沒洗乾淨．別擔心，有時

是真的沒沖乾淨，但也可能就是化學成分的

build up，請耐心多洗幾次，情況會改善．

你若是覺得頭髮乾澀梳不開，可以建議用稀釋

的檸檬汁或是醋（ㄧ定要稀釋），稍稍地拍在

頭髮上充當潤絲，有緩解的作用，頭髮擦乾

後，請吹乾之後再梳頭，回發現有一種不同的

柔順，頭髮會更輕飄，蓬鬆．

重要的是頭皮乾淨了，頭皮屑會減少，頭髮出

油的時間變慢，需要洗頭的時間延長，掉髮數

量也會少（但不要指望他會治療禿髮）沒有潤

絲精頭髮也不會分岔斷裂．

當然，沒有矽靈的包覆，頭髮不會有”閃閃發

亮”的光澤，有染髮的朋友也會發現染劑會掉

的快一些，我想這是有一好沒兩好吧．

我喜歡我的頭髮現在洗完後，毛巾隨便擦一擦

就乾了，不會一直滴水，滴地到處都是，吹乾

的時間變短，我的髮質好像鴨子從水中出來，

甩一甩就會乾的那種有天然油質保護的柔順．

真的是用過才知道，很歡迎大家都來嘗試很不

一樣的洗髮皂．

今天談一談肥皂裡的油

目前為止，希望大家都知道肥皂是油與鹼的結

合，詳細不說，因為我們不是教做皂．

我想給一個觀念就是”Read the lable”

手工肥皂的 Lable, 希望其中的成分都是看得

懂得，要是有太多看不懂的成分，可能真的不

太天然．

我做的固態手工皂，用的鹼就是氫氧化鈉

NaOh, Sodium hydroxide, or Lye（都是同一

種物質的不同名稱）．

其他主要的的是油，油有很多種，扮演不同的

角色，有的油的特點是起泡，有的是保濕，有

的可以增加硬度，有的非常滋潤．

一塊好用的手工皂就是看製皂人如何的調配這

些油的比例．

正確Lable方式是以比例高的成分寫在前面，

少的往後寫，所以我們在讀這些成分的時候，

可以對這塊肥皂的屬性略知一二．

椰子油，橄欖油，棕櫚油是最常用的三種油，

調配的好，非常好用，但不一定特別好用，很

遺憾的，我在市面上看到的手工肥皂，賣到天

價，也多半只有這三種油．

其他的油，價錢是翻倍跳著漲，當你看到

Sweet Almond, Shea Butter, 苦茶油,Avoca-

do, Jojoba, Hemp Oil等等的時候就知道製造

人真的有下成本，讓肥皂用起來更特別，也做

出更具特色的肥皂，當然肥皂的價格就必須反

應成本．

有很多客人跟我說”你的肥皂很好洗”，這種

讚美真會讓我高興一天，我也知道因為我很堅

持我的品質，不惜用一些讓人心痛的油，為的

是讓大家有護膚，清潔又環保的手工皂．

所以我鼓勵朋友們多多參考Label,可以看了解

製造人的用心，也可以找到適合您自己的手工

肥皂．

有人認為自己的皮膚很油，不敢碰滋潤的手

工皂

有人認為自己的皮膚很乾，不敢碰洗淨力強的

手工皂

到底要如何選購適合自己的手工皂?

第一，我們要先把市面上五花八門的商品分類

法拋到一邊，那是商人想盡方式要您洗手的買

一種，洗身體用一種，洗臉一種....他們賺的

多，你的浴室空間變少．

第二，用慣市面賣的產品，因為長久不良的影

響，會覺得皮膚變乾，頭髮變粗，或是過敏，

就認定自己一定是那一種膚質，但是一旦用了

手工肥皂之後會發現……原來自己不是那樣的

皮膚．

好，所以我在賣甚麼關子呢？

有沒有發現，我很少標明哪一塊是洗臉專用（

除非加了甚麼珍貴的材料），其實不必要，臉

與身體基本上可以用同一塊肥皂，若是你是乾

性髮質，洗身體的也可以拿去洗頭，但是洗頭

皂有特別用苦茶油去調配，若是用洗髮皂效果

會更好．

洗頭的手工皂因為頭皮要洗得乾淨一些，設計

洗淨力更強一些，但你若是油性皮膚或男士，

也可以用洗頭皂洗身體．

同樣的，家事皂洗淨力也很強，除了洗衣、洗

碗、刷鍋子之外，若是您覺得中偏油性的手工

皂洗身體皂不夠力，家事皂也可以拿來洗澡，

洗頭，而且還是會比市售的香皂滋潤喔．

除非已經確診是皮膚炎的患者（紫草手工皂效

果不錯），一般的手工皂大該都可以緩解皮膚

乾燥、脫皮、發癢的徵狀．

所以您要是男性或油性皮膚的人，可以用油性

膚質的手工皂，洗頭皂或是家事皂，從頭洗到

腳．您若是有成熟的皮膚，乾性的頭髮，可以

用滋潤型的手工皂,從頭洗到腳…趾頭 ^_^

其他的人，就可以用一塊洗頭皂與一塊普通的

洗澡．

出門旅行，我會帶自己的手工皂出門，短時間

旅行，一塊就可以，不需要分洗頭洗澡，還嫌

太大塊？用刀子切一下就可以分裝，市售的肥

皂是切不了的喔．

The tools you need: Soap, a clean bowl(heat proof), a funnel, a shredder, a bottle (best if it is an old shampoo bottle) a stick to stir, hot water

Shred the soap into the bowl.(Looks like the one on the right)

Add hot water and stir it until the soap turn into liquid..

When soap melts completely. You can use the fun-nel to pure the shampoo into the bottle.
