What do you need to prepare for?

Personal Kit Clothing A couple changes of clothing - Rain gear - at least a poncho - Hat socks and more socks - t shirts - underwear capilene uppers and lowers (polypropylene - cotton kills) hiking boots - sneakers Food and Water Three day supply of food and water (4 liters per day = 12 liters or 3 gallons) Water purification tablets or filter Canned fruit - canned meat - vegetables Canned juices - milk - soup (if powdered add more water to list) Sugar - salt - cayenne pepper - habanero pepper Peanut butter - jelly - crackers - Gorp - powerbar - granola - hard candy - cookies vitamins Hygiene towel - wash cloth - soap - shampoo - razor tooth brush - hair brush - tooth paste - dental floss toilet paper - paper towels - foot powder - moleskin needle - thread - buttons - rubber bands
