Praise God from whom all blessings flow; Praise Him all creatures here below; Praise Him above ye heavenly host, Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen.

The Call to Worship

Minister: I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the Lord!” Our feet have

been standing within your gates, O Jerusalem! (Psalm 122:1-2)

People: For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in

the house of my God than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. (Psalm 84:10)

Minister: For the sake of the house of the Lord our God; I will seek your good. (Psalm 122:9)

People: They are planted in the house of the Lord; they flourish in the courts of our God.

Minister: O Lord, I love the habitation of your house, and the place where your glory dwells.

People: But the Lord is in His holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before him. (Habakkuk 2:20)

Minister: Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight,

O Lord, my Rock, and my Redeemer. (Psalm 19:14)

People: O sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous things! I will sing of loyalty and

of justice, to you, O Lord, I will sing. (Psalm 98:1,4)

The Hymn of Praise…………………………………………….A.M.E. Hymn #54--A Mighty Fortress Is Our God

1. A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing; our helper He, amid the flood of mortal ills prevailing. For still our ancient foe doth seek to work us woe; His craft and power are great, and armed with cruel hate, on earth is not His equal. 2. Did we in our own strength confide, our striving would be losing, were not the right Man on our side, the Man of God's own choosing. Dost ask who that may be? Christ Jesus, it is he; Lord Sabaoth his name, from age to age the same; and He must win the battle. 3. And though this world, with devils filled, should threaten to undo us, we will not fear, for God hath willed His truth to triumph through us. The prince of darkness grim, we tremble not for him; his rage we can endure, for lo! his doom is sure; one little word shall fell him. 4. That Word above all earthly powers no thanks to them abideth; the Spirit and the gifts are ours through him who with us sideth. Let goods and kindred go, this mortal life also; the body they may kill: God's truth abideth still; his kingdom is forever! The Responsive Scripture (Continued) …………………………………………………………...……..Psalm 19:7-14

People: 8 the precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is clear, enlightening the eyes;

Minister: 9 the fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever; the ordinances of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.

People: 10 More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey, and drippings of the honeycomb.

Minister: 11 Moreover by them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.

People: 12 But who can detect their errors? Clear me from hidden faults.

Minister: 13 Keep back your servant also from the insolent; do not let them have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, and innocent of great transgression. ALL: 14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer.

The Preface to the Decalogue………………………………………………………….…..“From All That Dwell”

From all that dwell below the skies, let the Creator’s praise arise; let the Redeemer’s name be sung, through every land by every tongue.

The Summary of the Decalogue

And Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is

the great and first commandment. And the second is like it, you shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two command-

ments depend all the law and the prophets.

The Gloria Patri……………………………………………………………….…………...“Glory Be to the Father”

The Pastor’s Words

The Worship In Giving: tithes & offering

The Exercise of Christian Stewardship— 2 Corinthians 9:7(NIV) You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”
