WHAT WE ARE ABOUT….

We have a very simple perspective on the work we do at Dural Musical Society. We want to: Ø ensure we deliver a quality performance that all of us are proud to be associated with. Ø give members of the cast the opportunity to learn and grow as performers. Ø encourage our performers to feel that the society is a home away from home and that they

are part of the DMS family. Ø maintain DMS as a financially viable organisation so that we can continue to present

quality community theatre. Ø enjoy ourselves through rehearsals and performances as we share our love of theatre

WHO IS WHO AT DMS?

We’re continually trying to work that out, but we’re having a lot of fun doing exactly that. Unlike some musical societies, all committee members are actively involved in just about every aspect of the production. So you can expect to see them around all the time. Committee meetings are open, so come along and see what goes on.

AUDITION INFORMATION We all know auditions are one of the hardest parts of a musical. Before you begin you will meet the friendly audition panel and be looked after by the lovely helpers. Synopsis: THE ADDAMS FAMILY features an original story, and it’s every father’s nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met. And if that weren’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s ‘normal’ boyfriend and his parents.
