EN1090As of 1st July 2014, all construction products on the market must comply with the new regulation standard EN 1090 with special emphasis being placed on written declaration of performance and modified CE marking. This is a major change as affixing of CE marking. New elements in the EU-Construction Products Regulation 305/ 2011 (CPR) and relative EU Directive 89/106/EEC, include the CE marking of construction products according to the technical specification coordinated by manufacturers and distributors is mandatory; furthermore, CE marking is the only legally regulated marking which states that the construction product achieves its declared performance.Therefore,with the new standard EN1090 being regulated, major changes to the production process in both large and small manufacturers can be expected. ROD PULSE: ROD PULSE: one is usually familiar with pulsed TIG and MIG welding but not with pulsing in Electrode. STEL were the first company to develop this welding process. Nowadays this procedure has been studied and appreciated in all European welding institutes.The bead appearance and arc control are unique especially while welding cellulosic electrodes.(MAX® dp 201C, MAX® 403/403S/503 with CAD remote control or SM/XM wire feeder).

MEMORY: 60 memory slots are available to save your favourite programmes. This function can be easily recalled through the frontal panel.(MAX® 403/403S/503 with SM/XM/SMX wire feeder and TIG uP 273/293/403).

SYNERGIC: The Synergy created by STEL allows an easy regulation of the welding parameters. The operator only regulates the wire speed while the microprocessor inside the welding machine searches for the correct parameter of the welding voltage. This implies a simple usage, a great saving of time for the operator and a perfect bead appearance.(MAX® 403/403S/503 with SM/XM wire feeder).

CC/CV: The MAX 403/403S CC/CV mode allows the power source to be connected to the most common SUITCASE CC/CV.It’s enough to connect a power cable between the power source and the suitcase in order to weld in MIG standard mode and it’s possible to regulate the wire speed from the suitcase. (MAX® 403/403S)

TIG LIFT: With all our MMA products it’s possible to weld in TIG mode with LIFT start. This kind of welding has no high frequency and provides for a starting short circuit between the torch tungsten electrode and the material to be welded. When the torch is removed from the short circuit, the welding starts, moving from 0 to the welding current value you set up. The gas is regulated by means of a specific valve placed on the torch. (MAX® 403/403S/503 and TIG uP 273/293/403).

AC/DC: Thanks to the AC function it’s possible to weld in a/c which allows aluminium TIG welding with exceptional results. STEL offers the possibility to regulate BALANCE and FREQUENCY in order to optimize AC welding to the maximum level.(TIG uP 221/293/403H AC-DC).

PFC MULTI-LINkTM

• Normative: Stel has always given a moral emphasis to technologies that are environmentally freindly and energy conscious. Manufacturing is focused on producing products that are compatible to meeting with energy saving protocol and recent European Standards. In order to manufacture in respect of reducing harmonic distortion as per the limitations of European Standards December 2010 (EN 61000-3-12) Stel has developed an inovated PFC. (Power Factor Correction).

• Energy Saving: The new PFC technology requires less electrical input to the INVERTER power source by utilizing the total current available from the input supply. This results in a 30% saving through avoiding energy loss.

• Compatibility: The PFC Multi-LinkTM is able to operate from any input voltage all over the world.
