Kali (9,08 km2; 1638 people):
• Strong tradition and social inclusion of
women in fishing sector – 70% of
working-age population works in
fisheries sector
• 100% (16) of employees in local
processing plant ”Ribarska sloga” are
women
• 25% of families sell their own products
• 434 enterprises in fisheries sector
• Permanently injured or early retired
fishermen help net mending
Sali (122.78 km2 ; 1.698 people):
• 100% (36) of employees in
local processing plant
”Mardešić” are women
