Dagli inizi di febbraio non si sente che parlare della nuova versione di vSphere e di tutti i suoi Enhancements.

Agli inizi di febbraio è stato annunciato il rilascio di vSphere 6, disponibile al pubblico da marzo 2015

La nuova versione introduce miglioramenti a livello di hypervisor, virtual machine, vcenter server, virtual storage and virtual networking.

Sono stati allineati e aggiornati anche altri prodotti vmware quali :
