DESCRIPTION

In this webinar, we’ll explore Mission-Driven volunteering - a new model that allows associations and our volunteers to focus our limited resources, measuring everything we do by how well it supports and contributes to the mission of our organizations. You’ll hear examples from other small associations and learn about some tools (free ones too) to help your association embrace adhocracy and micro-volunteering.

Volunteer Challenges for Small Organizations

Volunteers are an essential resource for small membership organizations – often leading the organization and handling all of the administration.

So having volunteers in place and motivating them to get things done and accomplish your mission is critical to the organization’s success.

Volunteer challenges facing small membership organizations include:•Recruiting enough or “the right” volunteers•Difficulty motivating volunteers to complete tasks or accomplish goals•Scarce time and resources to manage volunteers
