The yacht market waswhere we began.Our first machinewas developed in

the mid-seventies. A machinethat did away with convention.All previous concepts of fittingterminals onto full-steel wirerope and solid rod were turnedupside down. Further, the ter-minal was also straight, notcurved, as was usual hit-hereto.The principle is simple. Theterminal itself drives therollerdies. The machine works

with a freely rotating pair ofrollers, driven when the termi-nal is drawn between them. Itis a simple and robust designwith the minimum of movableparts, making it reliable bothin the field and in rational pro-duction.Development was quick. Inmany fields, the need for highstrength swaged terminals isconsiderable. The machinesperform equally effectively onsolid rod as they do on full-steel wire. The breaking loadis as high as that of the rod orwire.
