Chapter 20
Sai Solved Das ghanu's problem
*****************************
Once, Das Ghanu started to write the meaning for Isha upanishad. Though it is a short composition, Isha Upanishad is difficult to 8understand. Das Ghanu maharaj could not proceed further without understanding it. He sought Baba's help and requested Him to make him understand. Baba casually told him that a maid servant in Kaka saheb Dixit's house would solve it for him the next day! Everyone thought Baba is joking but Das Ghanu trusted baba's words and visited his friend's home at Ville Parle.
The following day, he heard a young maid singing sweetly about a saree. its color and how beautiful it looked on her. Das Ghanu took pity on her and requested one of his friends to gift her a saree. she was vey happy and wore it the same

day. by next day, she came dressed in her old ragged clothes but was still running around happily!
Das Ghanu started thinking about it and suddenly found the answer. With or without the new saree, the girl was always cheerful and took everything as God's gift. God only gives what is good for one. One should be always happy and thankful for everything he or she gets. This is what Isha Upanishad teaches and thus Das Ghanu understood the essence of that great upanishad and went on to complete his writing. Baba's ways are mysterious but one should always have trust.Him wholeheartedly.
BOW TO SRI SAI PEACE BE TO ALL
Saiamrutham — “Man learns through experience, and the spiritual path is full of different kinds of expe-
riences. He will encounter many difficulties and obstacles, and they are the very experience he needs to en-
courage and complete the cleansing process.”
LIFE APPLICATIONS
**********************
Trust Baba’s words without any doubt.
Realize that everything is god’s gift and for your good only.
Always be watchful as good advice may come anytime.
Be cheerful and happy with whatever you get.

CONSORTS OF LORD
MURUGA
***********************
Lord Muruga has his two
consorts Valli and Devasena
on His sides. Valli, the
daughter of tribal chief
Nambi, is on His right side
and Devasena, the
daughter of Devendra is on
the left side. The form of
Lord Muruga with His two
consorts represents a
beautiful symbolism of life.
Life is full of desires. To
fulfil the desires, man is
required to act upon it.
Then slowly he gains
wisdom from his actions.
Valli is Ichcha Sakthi, or
Power of Will, and
Devasena is Kriya Sakthi, or
Power of Actions, and Lord
Muruga is Gnana Sakthi, or
Power of Wisdom.
* T O W A R D S T H E D I V I N E * - K a v i n a y a
Valli holds a lotus in Her hand, and Devasena holds a lily in Her hand. Lord Muruga’s eyes are said to be Sun and the Moon. The lotus in Valli’s hand blossoms and stays as such all day because of the Sun on Muruga’s right eye, whereas the lily in Devasena’s hand blossoms and stays as such all day because of the Moon on His left eye. Thus, He will shower His blessings on those who worship Him all 24 hours of every day. MAY LORD MURUGA’S BLESSINGS PROTECT EVERYONE!!!! ********************

THE LION THAT SPRANG TO LIFE
***************************************
There lived four men in a small town, who were friends. Three of them were scholarly in their own branch of mantra and tantra, but were lacking in common sense and did not know how to lead their day to day life. But the fourth one, even though not scholarly was very wise in his own way and could handle any tough situation applying his own mind. Once, all three scholars decided to go to other cities and exhibit their knowledge and to earn money and fame and they all decided to tag along their fourth friend also after much discussion.
On their way in a forest they saw a collection of bones of a dead lion. They all decided to show off their knowledge and one scholar arranged the bones into a complete skeleton. The second one grew skin, muscles and blood and brought up a complete but dead lion. While the third one was ready to give it life, the fourth friend the unread but wise one, pleaded with them to not do so, as the lion when it comes back to life will pounce on them.
They all ignored his warnings and wanted to just show off their knowledge. Fourth one, after much pleading understood that he could no longer win with them and asked them to just allow him enough time to go up a tree and then chant the mantra.
* P A N C H A T A N T R A T A L E S * - S a t h y a R a m k u m a r
As soon as he went up a tree, the third scholar recited the mantra and the lion sprang up to life. It immediately pounced on the three men and killed them all. The fourth man could not do anything but wait till the lion is gone, got down the tree and went back to his town.
MORAL OF THE STORY **************************
KNOWLEDGE ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH TO LEAD A PEACEFUL LIFE; COMMON SENSE SHOULD GO ALONG WITH IT.
SRIDHARAMRITHAM *******************************
Prayers need not be in scholastic language. It is just dedication with faith that is needed towards the lord. It can be in your own language. I know for sure, He listens to all of us.
