Checking the settings

1. Prepare: A compatible USB flash memory deviceConnect the USB flash memory to the [TO DEVICE] terminal.

2. Call up the save display: Press the [FILE] [F2]SAVE buttons.

3. Set the save settingsa) TYPE Allb) directory of the devicec) file name

4. Execute: Press the [SF1]EXEC button.

Initializing the settings (There are 2 ways.)

1. Call up the Factory Set display: Press the [UTILITY] [JOB] buttons.

2. Execute: Press the [ENTER]button.

1. Enter the Test Program2. Select the 047 Factory Set3. Execute: Press the [ENTER] button.

1. Prepare- Check the Firmware version: Press the [UTILITY] [JOB] buttons.

- Download the Operating System Updater: 1. Download the latest Operating System Updater from

Yamaha website.2. Copy the program file (xxx.PGM) to a compatible USB

flash memory device.!No other files should be present in the USB flash memory!

2. Enter the update mode:- Connect the USB flash memory to the [TO DEVICE] terminal.- Hold down the [LEVEL] meter button, then press the power on.

3. Execute: Press the [REC] button.

4. Reboot:- Turn off the instrument and remove the USB flash memory.- Turn the power on and confirm the Firmware version.

1. Accessing the GHL keyboard

Separate the upper and lower case assemblies. Remove the 53 screws from the bottom side.

* Maintain the screws.



Separate the upper and lower case assemblies.



Remove the 8 screws to remove the GHL keyboard.



The keys can be removed.
