1 Geltungs-/Anwendungsbereich

Diese Norm beschreibt die Anforderungen an Zuliefe-rungen (Teile, Werkstoffe, Gerte, Maschinen) sowie aneigengefertigte ZF-Erzeugnisse.

This standard describes the demands placed on purchasedsupplies (parts, materials, devices, machines) and onZF-manufactured products.

4 Verbotene und deklarationspflichtige

Stoffe

Fr Zulieferungen an ZF und fr eigengefertigteZF-Erzeugnisse gilt die GADSL.

Aufgelistet sind verbotene unddeklarationspflichtigeStoffe.Alle mit verboten klassifizierten Stoffe sind fr bestimmteAnwendungszwecke gesetzlich verboten. Sie drfenoberhalb der zulssigen Grenzen nicht enthalten sein.

Alle mit deklarationspflichtig klassifizierten Stoffe drfen

ohne vorherige Meldung an ZF nicht geliefert werden.

4 Prohibited and declarablesubstances

The GADSL apply to supplies purchased by ZF and toZF-manufactured products.

Prohibited and declarable substances are listed.

All substances classified as prohibited are legallyprohibited for certain applications. They are not allowed inconcentrations above the permissible limits.

All substances classified as declarable may not be shipped

to ZF without prior notification.

5 Radioaktive Stoffe

Ergnzend zu den Regelungen in der GADSL darf die

gesamte -Aktivitt den Grenzwert von 0,1 Bq/g nichtberschreiten.

5 Radioactive substances

In addition to the specifications contained in the GADSL,

the rule applies that overall -activity must not exceed thelimit value of 0.1 Bq/g.

6 Erluterungen

In der Norm wurde die VDA- und Fordliste durch dieGADSL ersetzt.

Der Grund hierfr ist, dass die GADSLweltweit eine grere Akzeptanz hat.

6 Explanations

In the standard the VDA- and Ford specification wasreplaced by GADSL.

The reason for this is, that the GADSL is moreaccepted in the world.
