C reare oggetti a Firenze è un’arte antica che affonda le sue radici nel Rinascimento. E’ qui che nel 1966, dalla grande intuizione

del fondatore Paolo Marioni, nasce e si sviluppa la nostra azienda. In pochi anni avviene la rapida trasformazione da piccola bottega artigiana a solida realtà industriale che conquista, con i suoi prodotti, spazi di mercato sempre più ampi in Italia e nel mondo.

Fortemente connotata in senso familiare nonostante le dimensioni attuali la MARIONI di quelle origini conserva il senso di appartenenza con la dedizione e l’impegno che ne derivano; della Toscana, terra d’elezione, la tipica innata creatività. Una produzione ed un nome che invitano a nuove, affascinanti dimensioni dell’abitare oggi. Proposte di oggetti inconfondibili per creatività manualità di esecuzione, particolarità di disegni. La gestione della produzione volutamente rifiuta la grande serialità e preferisce affrontare con la massima serenità anche le richieste più disparate di oggetti speciali per forma e dimensione.

HistoryF lorence has always been famous for its

craftwork, an old art whose roots go back tothe Renaissance. Here is where in 1966 our

company was born and has developed thanks to the genial inspiration of its founder, Paolo Marioni. In just a few years this small craft studio turned into a reliable manufacturing company whose products are now getting bigger and bigger shares of the Italian and the global market. Though MARIONI is a large-sized company, it’s strongly characterized by a family approach whose sense of belonging has been preserved together with a spirit of devotion and commitment. At the same time this company has kept alive the innate creativity of Tuscany. A history and a wide range of products that suggest new and charming ideas for modern home-life. Collections that are unique thanks to their creativity, craftsmanship and special design. MARIONI policy refuses a mass-production system, while it prefers an approach that meets, without problems, even the most various re-quests in terms of size and shape of custom made objects.

L’AziendaNegli anni Marioni ha sviluppato, partendo dal materiale ceramico,

linee di complementi d’arredo per la casa, con attenzione particolare agli abbinamenti cromatici, alle finiture ed ai decori.

Oggetti legati alla creatività dei dettagli progettati ed alla manualità di esecuzione. Oggi la collezione comprende una linea CONTEMPORARY, una proposta completa di arredi “transitional” definita CONCEPT oltre alla tradizionale CLASSIC.

Nella sede di Calenzano, a poca distanza da Firenze, operano con grande capacità i nostri modellatori, decoratori ed artisti e tra modernità e tradizione nascono le nostre collezioni che mantengono inalterato nel tempo l’innato valore funzionale ed estetico.

L’organizzazione della produzione è del tipo “a commessa” con uno stock di prodotti semilavorati sempre disponibili per una gestione attenta e puntuale delle finiture tra smalti, decori e patinature.

Con l’esperienza acquisita in più di 40 anni di attività e grazie alla riconosciuta capacità ed alta professionalità delle nostre maestranze siamo in grado di assecondare e supportare l’inventiva e la creatività di architetti, designer ed artisti in ogni campo ed in ogni fase: dall’analisi di specifiche problematiche alla ottimizzazione dei dettagli costruttivi. Ceramica, vetro, metallo, legno e pelle sono soltanto alcuni dei materiali che possono essere combinati tra di loro per la realizzazione dei progetti più esclusivi.

Dal settembre 2002 la qualità delle collezioni MARIONI è riconosciuta e garantita dal “Quality System Certificate” ISO 9001; una certificazione basata sull’attenzione costante a tutti i cicli produttivi e distributivi ed ad una condivisione degli obiettivi aziendali a tutti i livelli.

Our CompanyO ur current collection includes the CONTEMPORARY line and,

besides our traditional CLASSIC line, it also counts a selection of transitional furniture called CONCEPT line. In Calenzano, near

Florence, our able modellers, decorators and artists work with mastery and our collections come to life surrounded by an environment of modernity and tradition keeping unchanged their innate functional and aesthetic character. Our approach is based on a make-to-order production with a stock of semi-finished items always available, in order to guarantee an accurate management of enamels, decorations and glazing. Thanks to the experience we’ve acquired in more than 40 years and to our workers’ acknowledged competence and professional attitude, we can follow and back the imagination and the creativity of architects, designers and artists in every field and phase, starting from the analysis of problems to the optimization of structural details. Ceramic, glass, metal and leather are just some of the material that can be combined to create some of the most exclusive projects.

A ll our products are supplied by authorized retailers and are sold with an authenticity certificate that guarantees their origin. Our light fittings conform to the strictest EU directives on

“Electromagnetic Compatibility” and on “Low Voltage”. Since September 2002 the quality of MARIONI collections has been acknowledged and guaranteed by the “Quality System Certificate” ISO 9001. A certification based on our constant attention to every step of the supply and production chain, and on the thorough sharing of our goals.

EGG SHELLLampade in ceramica smaltata avorio con applicazione manuale di una decalcomania ad effetto “eggshell” che rende particolarmente ricercato l’abbinamento con i tessuti dei paralumi in fibra naturale.

Ceramic lamps decorated with an ivory glaze and enriched by a decal applied manually and with an eggshell-like effect. This decor is ide-al with shades in natural fabrics.

COCCOSu di un corpo in ceramica smaltata avorio viene applicata una decalcomania ad effetto pelle di coccodrillo. Un decoro che bene si inserisce negli arredamenti in stile contemporaneo ed etnico-chic. La finitura è disponibile su molti dei nostri articoli.

This finishing fits perfectly well in spaces with a contemporary and ethnic-chic style. Its feature is the application of a crocodile-effect decal on an ivory-glazed shape. The finishing is available for many of our products.

PLATINOSu di una superficie di smalto bianco l’applicazione del platino a pennello ed una successiva cottura a 650° permettono di ottenere un risultato di lucentezza unico per queste lampade di notevole valore artistico.

High artistic value lamps characte-rized by extreme brightness, which is obtained through the manual application of a platinum glaze on a white glaze layer and a 650°C firing temperature.

This finish is applied with great maste-ry on statuesque shapes that set off the elegance of chrome-finished brass elements. The shades come with a neutral fabric.

TORTORA CRAQ.La trasparenza della cristallina mette in evidenza la plasticità delle forme degli apparecchi di illuminazione. Oltre al tortora sono disponibili altre quindici diverse tonalità.

The light see-through effect of this crystalline glaze set off the plasticity of the light fittings. Besides dove grey finish fifteen more colours are available.

This finishing is available for all our items both with a shiny and with an old-looking effect. The silver leaves are applied manually and the entire process is carried out by highly qualified workers.

We have more than fifty different monochrome glaze colours. It is indeed one of the widest range in our sector. This kind of glaze is used by the most important decorators and interior designers in order to reach the best match with fabrics and furniture. We can offer both lucid and opaque sample colours even for small lots.

SCAVOIl colore del materiale ceramico varia, a seconda degli ossidi contenuti nelle argille, dal bianco a rosso. Nel caso della terracotta l’elevata presenza di ossidi di ferro fa prevalere la tonalità rossastra.E’ su questo supporto che applichiamo con maestria pigmenti naturali che successivamentevengono mescolati a polveri e cere per donare alla superficie quel piacevole effetto anticato denominato “scavo”.

The colour of the ceramic changes from red to white depending on the oxides present in the clay. In the earthenware objects in fact the high content of iron oxides shows off a reddish shade.Afterwards we apply natural pigments that then we mix together.

CAIROIl decoro, disponibile su tutta la nostra gamma di prodotti, è realizzato con colori naturali ed untrattamento finale con cera d’api. Per mantenerne nel tempo la vivacità e la lucentezza si consigliadi lucidare di tanto in tanto gli oggetti con un panno in lana.

This finishing is available for all our products. It provides the use of natural colours and theapplication of beeswax. We advise you to polish the products with a wool cloth every now and thenin order to keep the brightness and the vividness of the ceramic alive through time.

SCAVO OROSoltanto partendo da una materia prima come l’argilla rossa toscana possono essere realizzati articoli che richiamano alle forme di ispirazione rinascimentale. Dopo una prima cottura i nostri artisti applicano colori naturali e polveri per raggiungere il giusto grado di anticatura che verrà poi impreziosita da foglia d’oro e lucidata con cera d’api.

Only starting from the Tuscan red clay we can actually obtain valuable products that recall the classic shapes of the Renaissance. After the first firing our artists apply natural colours and powders in order to obtain the right old-looking effect. Afterwards the objects are enriched by gold-leaf details and then polished with beeswax.

AFSHARIUna collezione di oggetti raffinati realizzati in ceramica smaltata con applicazione di decalco a rilievo con disegno “Paisley” e rifiniture in foglia oro. Una combinazione unica di colori tenui ed una attenzione meticolosa ai dettagli.

Refined items made of glazed ceramic, on which we apply gold-leaf finishing and embossed decalswith a “paisley” pattern. A unique combination of soft colours and painstaking attention to details.

CRAQUELET AMBRA OROLa cristallina craquelet di colore ambrato trova il suo giusto abbinamento con la decorazione in foglia d’oro anticata. La trasparenza è tipica di questa finitura che lascia intravedere il supporto ceramico, creando un perfetto contrasto di luci.

This amber crystalline glaze greatly matches with the old-looking gold finishing. Transparency is a typical feature of this glaze, that thanks to its see-through effect creates beautifullight contrasts.
