How to use “中文 zhong wen”on-line text book:

There are four unit:

1. 第一单元- unit 1 (第一课-lesson 1, 第二课-lesson 2, 第三课-lesson 3)

2. 第二单元-unit 2 (第四课-lesson 4, 第五课-lesson 5, 第六课-lesson 6)

3. 第三单元-unit 3 (第七课-lesson 7, 第八课-lesson 8, 第九课-lesson 9)

4. 第四单元-unit 4 (第十课-lesson 10, 第十一课-lesson 11, 第十二课-lesson 12)

I use unit 1(第一单元) lesson two(第二课) as the example. (You click the lesson you want to learn)

Move your cursor to the menu bar (on the left side) you will see the English. For example: I chose second one

“Charcters” and click it.

You will see new vocabulary words. You can select one new vocabulary. (I select first one 人-people)

You will see this screen. The first icon on the bottom is 拼音-Pin-Yin (Chinese pronunciation/phonics). The

second one is 笔画-bi hua (Chinese stroke order). The third one is 部首-bu shou (Radical). The fourth one is 组

词-zuci (Phrase). I chose the second one “笔画-bi hua (Chinese stroke order)” for the writing stroke.

The first one on the right side is “笔顺-Stroke order”. This shows Stroke order for your student to know what

the orders for this vocabulary are.

I select first one on the right side “笔顺- Stroke order”. When you click it, it will automatically play the stroke

order for you.

When you click the second one “描红- trace over the red character with a writing brush”. Students can

practice writing stroke order on computer. This is for your students to practice stroke order not to fill in the

character.

The third one is “橡皮- eraser.” It allows students to erase what they have written and practice the word again.
